1. Not being ignorant. The amp can be put into a 19" rackmount flightcase, or wooden surround that it was in...in the picture, by using the ears, and bolts. This enables you to carry it with one hand if it has a handle. I might even have a spare one hanging around...can't promise, but will have a nose in my "special" cupboard tomorrow. But will include it if I have one. Other than the guts needing a soldering and a servicet, the condition is good. These older Hartkes were built like tanks IMHO. Posting might be an option, id prefer face to face, but I'll see if my mates music shop can courier it to you at cost. (Was £14 fixed amount, for literally anything from a plectrum to a bass bin). I won't be able to get there till Tuesday though. John
2.
I wish I was close to try this out. Always fancied one but never seen one in the flesh, let alone played one.
Serious "grown ups" bass. One of the nicest necks I've played, plus the ebony board just makes your fingers skip. The eq options with the internal preamp adjustment is fab too. They are very rare beasties, or owners just don't sell them too often. I have nooooo money or it'd be mine.
3. Oh Mert that's bad news, sorry you've got to part with this baby. Folks, If you've never played one of these, they have a lovely flat neck profile that makes it easy to play. The tone is huge too. John
4. Why is this still here? PM'd
5. Hi chaps! Not really wanting to split, not really desperate to sell either. It was just a speculative "anyone got something with 12's in" kind of thought......an expensive thought mind!!
6. Sold this amp with a couple of cabs, but it came apparent that the amp needed some attention, so took it back with full refund. So this is for the amp head only. 3500 MosFet head that fires up, works, sounds great still. It's been looked at by an amp tech, and his report recommends:- That an emitter resistor needs resolderring onto the PCB on the power output module. Here's a picture of said loose resistor:- A couple of power supply caps need replacing too. Generally would benefit from a service. £70 cash. Please note, the amp is not in the wooden rack unit anymore, and the Hartke cabs, Genz head and Eden cab shown, are not included in the sale. I'm in north Dorset if you'd like to come try it out. Happy to travel to meet up as far as Bournemouth, Bristol, Bath. But no further I'm afraid.
7. As title. Bit weird. Have I been blocked by the seller/mods/my wife?
8. Go for it Joe, there a lot of Devon/Cornwall bassists here and FInnbass. All you need is a suitable venue down your way and the will to do the organising. If you need some advice, or tips then feel free to ask...........Keith :-) Cheers, John
9. Can break this up if anyone wants any of it?? Prices in OP
10.
Well..... Level 42 have ;o)
Yeah, thanks J, I saw that, but was interested in other artists covering a tune or two.
