1. Go for it Joe, there a lot of Devon/Cornwall bassists here and FInnbass. All you need is a suitable venue down your way and the will to do the organising. If you need some advice, or tips then feel free to ask...........Keith :-) Cheers, John
2. This seems very good value to me
3. Can break this up if anyone wants any of it?? Prices in OP
4.
Well..... Level 42 have ;o)
Yeah, thanks J, I saw that, but was interested in other artists covering a tune or two.
5. Any known artists covered a Level 42 song acoustically (guitar or piano)? Couldn't find anything via google. Thanks.
6. Hi Ian, nice to see another Dorset bassist around. John
7. Fab basses these, as are all G&L's.
8.
What brand is this?
Sorry, its a Woodstock WH000.
9.
1969 Fender Mustang and a 1979 pre EB Stingray coming soon to the for sale section I think. Les
Make sure you keep the strings though...very important. You never know if you decide to audition for a band again.... "I haven't got a bass mate, but I've got loads of strings..." One songwriter I work for auditions musicians by going for a drink with them (and the rest of the band) before hearing them play. We chat about musical influences and see if they're easy to get on with (and they're not psychopaths). If we all get on, then they get invited for a musical audition. Takes a little longer, but saves on wasted studio costs.
10.
That will make a great starter fretless for someone. Have a bump on me.
That it would, cheers.
11. Great little amp this, I've gigged it with an upright bass in an acoustic trio, but its mainly been sat in my music room and used in lessons. Passive active switch, 3 band eq, aux in for your MP3 player, phones out. 10" driver. Quite old, but has served me well. More spec. http://usa.yamaha.com/product_archive/guitars-basses/f20b/?mode=model £30
12. Solid top Parlour acoustic guitar. 1 month old, newly strung with Martin SP 12's, surprisingly loud. Gig bag included. 14. As has been said twice before by me on this thread, Tim is a pleasure to deal with. Good comms, quick payment, Bobs yer uncle! Thanks (again) Tim, enjoy the bass. John
15.
Do any of the following tickle you for a trade? 1991 Bass Collection SB310 5 string (black) 1988 Bass Collection SB320 Fretless (trans red) Dean Hillsboro Single (white)
If these don't work out for you Chambo, I'd be interested in either of these....but after you've decided. John
