3.
Exactly. When she said "pro singer" was she referring to her preference of sewing machine?
Or a hooker that sings???
 4.
It's nothing specific to music. Loads of people speak with authority on things they know absolutely nothing about. God knows why, and I wish they'd stop!
Quite agree! And as someone who knows nothing, I speak with great authority all the time!
 5. Got this rack bag when I ordered a 2U, but the shop sent a 4U instead as they were out of stock. My LMII looks silly in this, so am getting rid! It is 1 week old, has not been out of the house and has had my LMII in it for 1 hour. It is in it's original box. Collection welcome in Dorset, or will post at cost. john pics to come, but this is what it is. 10. I think that "feedback, or a critique" should only be given if asked for. And I also believe in asking for critique, but only from those who's opinion I trust. Unsolicited opinions (positive or negative) have no substance if you don't know someone's motives. That's my opinion, which you didn't ask for, and therefore can dismiss it as a load of ol' crap....I know I would.
 11. Yup, Will bought a scratchplate and paid quickly, good communications throughout. Thanks Will, John
 12.
Most bands I go to see I can't hear the bass player anyway. They could be making balloon animals and it would sound just the same.
You've seen me play then...! Great giraffe no?
 13. Hi, just a quick bump in case any Dorseteers have missed this. Also if anyone fancies lending me a hand on the day, it would be appreciated. Cheers, John
 14.
Hi, due to demise of function band and having to spend too many Saturday nights in with the Missus i am available for regular and or dep work. I am based in Dorset so can cover Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset & somerstet pretty easily. Ability to busk or dep, read the dots etc. Good gear & reliable Rob
Hey Rob, You able to get to the dorset bass bash in July?? John
 15.
Hi, Do you know if this is for a mexican or USA fender? A picture would be great if you have one also. Thanks very much Rich
Hi Rich, I'll take some pics later. Came off a Squire if that helps?
 16.
Is this still available??
Nah, sorry it's mine, with nice tortie pick-guard
 17.
I've got nothing on that day, are you still interested in some sort of trade stand from a (semi) local music shop?
That'd be great Dom. If there's anything that could be "donated" for a basschat fund-raiser raffle even better! I'll try and get to the acoustic night before then to say hi. John
 18. Fats Waller, George Shearing, Django, Hoagy Carmichael......
 19.
I am going to start a luthiery business purely so I can produce a bass called a OverWoodDingWalembic
I'd buy one Rich, if you can make a fanned fretless???
 20. White P bass scratchplate. Holes for pickup cover. Ok condition.
 21.
See what I mean ^
Don't worry about it Craig, it'll be a grin. You'll get to meet some other BC'ers, maybe get to have a twiddle on someone's expensive vintage re-issue OverWoodDingWalembic 9 string fannedfretless too There'll be no "looking down on anyone else's gear snobbery" stuff going on, just a chance to meet and chat bout "bassy" things. John
 22.
I may come up from Plymouth if i'm not gigging, maybe others local would want to share petrol if i can do it?
Yeah good idea Lee, bit of car sharing goes a long way...(pardon the pun)
