This is a passive 4 string MIM Jazz bass that has had the decal changed to read "made in usa". It also has a usa serial number on the reverse headstock. The bass is very clean, in excellent condition. Used it on Saturday, to give it a run out before selling. It's the first time I've gigged with it since getting it and it did what I wanted it to do without fuss, covered full range of styles/sounds no worries. Bought it as a "spare", but won't be needed. Di Marzio Area J pups (hum cancelling), black badassII bridge. Will come with quality warwick gigbag (with velcro neck holder). Nice player, strung with HR Hi beams I think?? I'm offering it at £250 posted. If no interest in a couple of days, I might take apart and sell bits separately, as I noticed a couple of wanted posts for necks/bodies/badassII's etc. In which case there would be a body with pots/plate/knobs, a neck, a black badassII & pair of very nice J pups. Don't know about prices, happy to be guided before hand tho'. I may also be interested in a trade for a small 1x15 cab 8 ohm 300 watt minimum, with cash adjustment. I have secured a 4x8 mini at a very good price, but the 1x15 purchase has fallen through. So my love for the mini 1x15 is still unrequited. These are such a great combination of cabs and the 2 separately offer great flexibility IMHO. I'm not worried about the weight, having shifted 1x18 cabs through most of the late 70's and early 80's these are tiny.. and take up very little space. Due to personal circumstances I was unable to proceed with a sale straight away, so have some bits for sale now. However, if someone can offer the cash now for these before me, they will have bought some terrific cabs from a nice guy. I'll get over it, I've discovered that there are more important things in the world these past few days. John x

I am selling my 5 string Status Groove bass. I sold this not so long ago, regretted it, and bought it back. However, there are some cabs I have wanted for ages and they've come up for sale here, so this is up for grabs as I don't seem to be able to sell my Genz cab. It is in excellent nick, plays great and has bags of volume and tone similar to MM. Lovely flat neck profile and so easy to play. It has volume, treble/bass pots and an active/passive switch. I have nearly always used it as passive as the tone "straight" is very warm, but "grunty". It slaps like a newborn's bum, and I will undoubtedly stalk whoever buys this and when I have money, beg to buy it back...so fair warning. As said in the description, I will deliver/meet around the counties above, but no further at the present. I will post, at cost, but I will have to source a box to ship it in. I'm not able to travel for a few days for personal reasons, but this looks ideal. Only thing is another matching pair of 4x8 and 1x5 mini's have come up, but they're a bit pricey for my budget at the mo', also beneathitall has the production over run 1x15 neo loaded larger cab at a brill price, but I can't get to it to pick it up.....so many cabs to choose from.

Hi Chris, I thought I'd go for a trade in the first place. Unfortunately I don't know what the cab is worth in £'s. I did see someone suggest putting a high-ish ballpark figure and ask for ONO, so might do that. I can't ask for offers as per forum rules (am happy with that). Also, need another cab to replace. Genz Benz LS115B cab. Just got this cab in a trade. Tried it with Ashdown ABM EVOII 300 head, and LMII head and it's a great sound. Loads of lows and enough high end response for slapping to cut through. It's just a bigger unit than I'm used to, so looking for a smaller more compact cab. (Ideally mini 4x8/1x15, or compact 1x15/2x10). I'm open to offers of alternative cabs, and am not worried about weight, just size. Would need min 300 watt capacity cab @ 8 ohm, or 500 watt at 4 ohm (if that makes sense.) Price as guide now.£250 It's in immaculate condition, been very well looked after, and has the usual Genz Benz quality build. The positioning of the handles on top give very good balance when picked up. The specs are as follows:- 300 watt 8ohm 24.5" H 25" W 18" D 61lbs weight I am unable to deliver/meet more than 20 miles from North Dorset at present due to personal circumstances.
