I say unused, both items unboxed and tested at home for 60 seconds but then put away and not used since. Great little looper with PSU both boxed. 30 minutes of unlimited layers. Very good for practice, or disappearing down a noodling rabbit hole whilst the world burns around you in a zombie apocalypse. £25 posted

Not particularly bass related…sorry, but any fans here? I love his later stuff with The Hot Licks, when it sounds like he’s singing without his teeth in 😂. Great musicians, clever songs and his duet album is wonderful. This one Featuring Setzer & Costello is a lot of fun. The bass is perfect.

The European water vole that lives in my spoon drawer. It’s relentless.

I do Blue. Mostly recording for peeps, more remotely these days. Bass, b/vs or guitar (rarely). I LOVE this part of being a musician. I’m lucky that in a studio I don’t get “red light” nerves, and because of diligent prep tend to get my parts done quickly.

It’s ok to not enjoy gigging. I have played most genres, in most European countries, in pubs, at weddings, festivals, functions. I’ve been paid well, paid badly and not paid at all. I enjoy the camaraderie, playing with other musicians, the opportunity to visit interesting places and meet some interesting people. But once on stage with an audience and having to perform, I lose all enjoyment. I’m not nervous, I’m diligent and learn my parts (and often others parts), I look good so I’m told, and hold my own with anyone I’m on stage with. But I don’t enjoy gigging. There’s nothing “wrong” with me, and I get a bit tired of the lack of acceptance that some people don’t like gigging. It’s nothing to do with not having found the right band/people/venue/pay/underpants/ burger relish or whatever. I accept that probably a majority of musicians here love it…good, I’m glad for you, truly. I hope you get many opportunities to do the thing you love. Just stop telling people that they should all be the same as you. There. Hope that clears that up (said the pharmacist to the bishop)

Reminds me of a time back in the 90’s when we invited a well known children's “ministry” bloke to do a Christmas service. It was all fun and games with all the silly songs and “actions”. Then it came to his speaky bit where he opened with “I don’t care what your parents have told you, Father Christmas doesn’t exist”. Now, our children had been told from very early on that FC wasn’t real but was a fictional character. And in fact their gifts came from the hard graft of their mother and I. However, there were a number of parents who were not happy with Mr “well known childrens ministry person who’s made a fair bob from CD sales”. I had a word with him after and pointed out that it was the responsibility of parents to parent their own children, not his and perhaps he should stick to what we invited (paid a lot of money) him to do. Give some people a microphone and an audience and they think they’re roy chubby brown or Arthur scargill. 🙄

£39 posted Made for me in by one of the band techs with van damme cable. Its a twin piezo (bridge wing placed) pickup, which he labelled Bill & Ted so I would remember which pickup to insert into which side of the wings. He also made a small buffer unit (which he named Pizza buffer) with a volume control and cable as I wanted to control volume without fiddling with the amp. Works a treat. Runs on 9v battery which you activate using the switch, indicated as on via blue led. I had a small battery clip bag I used to put the battery in, but I can’t find it anywhere. Pretty cheap to find though. £49 posted.

I’m in Bristol Monday morning, so could pick it up for @BreadBin if you’re around during the day? Or if you work in Bristol centre?

These are very good, very comprehensive. I have the acoustic version. I was going to recommend it, but the OP mentioned something simple. But if you’re after more than just verb and delay then great option.

TC vocal pedals are great. This may fit. https://www.tc-helicon.com/product.html?modelCode=P0DDW

@briansbrew Brian bought some P bass parts from me. Was patient throughout as it took me a while to get it out to him. A gentleman and a good fella to deal with. Thanks for your patience young man. John

@Raslee Lee bought some pickups and loom from me. Despite Lee paying quicker than a quick thing, it took me weeks to get it out to him, yet he remained patient throughout. A gentleman and fine person to deal with. Thanks for your patience Lee. John

😂 Streamliner style I think, but not to be confused with the current Streamliner series. I had an historic series acoustic and I believe they are made either by Cort or Peerless? Such a sexy looking thing. Guitars not bad either……

With my decision to move away from bass and get back to guitar, I got myself one of these. I adore the look of a Gretsch but don’t get on with the larger bodies, so this was my compromise. Historic Series G3140

Took 3 days, so probably quicker than if I’d sent it to Bristol!
-
Well I’ve been informed that it’s been delivered so all that documentation I was instructed to include was a waste of time.

They have cheese and chocolate so they don’t count

Sold an acoustic guitar on eBay £95. Bought by bloke in NI. Now lumbered with Export forms that appear to think I’m a commercial business, asking questions I have no idea how to answer. Thinking of putting the guitar, case, box and forms on a bonfire next Saturday night. Why is everything just shight. 😡

As title suggests, you put a bass in it and then take it to a gig. Great idea. Great nick too.
