  1. Some of the more bizarre behaviours I’ve witnessed: - Someone not even in the music group or even a musician turning up early to play percussion because she “felt it was right”. I told her she heard wrong and i felt it was right she didn’t play. - A mother telling me that her 9 year old son should play his trumpet that morning. I told her he wasn’t. - Someone turning up with a flute and playing it in the congregation. All good fun. 😊
  2. Off a Squier P. I kept the ferrels that were in the bass when I replaced these, so have included the ones that came with the Gotohs I fitted. Also comes with a standard round string tree and screws. I also have a single large plate Wilkinson Machinehead and ferrel I can chuck in for free if you fancy it. £7 posted. Thanks John
  3. Unless this is copyrighted, I’m definitely going to use that. Love it! Great kit you have there btw! Nice to have picked up some more gigs as a result of the bands performance too!
  4. 1:40 Sunday afternoon slot at Home Farm Fest was a bit weird. Most of the other acts were nice n chilled for a post lunch snooze. But we went down well, some peeps got up and danced even though they wouldn’t know our songs. The PsychoDahlias 3rd gig so far but were well rehearsed and getting gig fit. A few more festivals and headliners over the summer and autumn. I’m beginning to enjoy gigging again.
  5. That looks a belter! Good price for the quality of manufacturing. I’d have this if I hadn’t just nabbed a MIJ strat from a mate. GLWTS
  6. I have largish hands and find the Seagull S6 brilliant as they have a wider nut than usual, I have the S6 QIT and they’re well within your budget if you go used. Made in Canada.
  7. No worries, very generous gift to the lucky one.
  8. Oooh v interested. Just need an excuse to get up Witney way.
  9. From 2 very different musical genres, but both played fretless Ps. Kenny Passarelli and Percy Jones, my teen bass idols. My default ever since has been a fretless P.
  10. Wow, I’m pretty sure I owned this +10 years or so ago. The neck in particular is wonderful. GLWTS
  11. Keyboard player is where they all should be, hidden behind the pillar playing with his organ.
  12. Hope and Anchor last night with The Psychodahlias. Good support from Fuzzy Head, reminded me of The Damned, brilliant! Not the best venue for a 7 piece but nice to be back at a place I haven’t played since the early 80’s. Finished our set at 11:00, got home 4:00. 🙄
  13. The Psychodahlias are headlining The Hope & Anchor in Islington 17th May. Come along and say ‘allo. John
  14. Rock n Roll Pt 1&2 was the first record I bought, and I still love it to this day. Goldfrapp’s Ooh LaLa has a similar vibe with that lovely shuffle. I won’t be watching the TV programme however as it feels a bit voyeuristic to me. OVMD of course.
  15. No hate, but Ken Smith’s remind me of a T Rex. Tiny arms on a fat body.
  16. Great little 2 channel 35 watt acoustic amp from TE. It’s got a slider to blend 2 channels if needed, I’ve also got a Jack to XLR adapter I’ll include so you can use one of the channels with a mic. Comes with a unique custom dust cover... Recently electrical tested and passed. I don’t do much/any acoustic 6 string or mandolin gigs anymore, so it’s taking up space. Collection from Bath, or can meet up within reasonable pre-agreed distance.
  17. Bought some machineheads from Adam. Arrived quickly, well packaged, great communication and straightforward easy transaction. Thanks! John
  18. Old Don boy likes a legal scrap.
