  1. Nice. 😎
  2. No it’s ok Stew, my poor comms. I thought if you were delivering something to Pete, you might be able to pick a package up from him (whilst your there). But looks like I’ve grabbed the stick at the pointy end 🤦🏻‍♂️😊
  3. Might be cheeky Stew and ask if you could pick something up from Pete and I’ll get it from you in Nort’n....but only if you end up dropping off the other item of course. J
  4. Thought it was just me. George Harrison’s playing was fabulous too, you could tell he loves the genre and CP was a hero.
  5. Watching this on Sky Arts, 1985 tv special of the great man himself and a number of guests. Now I love me a bit o Rockabilly and Western swing, etc and all is going well, sympathetic guitar settings (clean slapback reverb) from band until mr Clapton does a turn. Distorted blues licks, bends and stuff (basically what he does), sounded completely out of place to me. Mr Perkins seemed to like it, so what do I know. But to me it was the equivalent of Mark king doing a slap solo all the way through The Deer Hunter theme choon. Just because you can and all that?! Maybe EC can only do one thing (albeit very well). I’ll get back in my box now, but anyone else think of musically inappropriate guest appearances? Bye!
  6. Plus cash? 😊 I remember seeing these basses on tv in the 70’s played by Flintlock(?). Such an iconic design.
  7. And make coat hangers
  8. Why is there a sherbet liquorice attached to the side? Seems a waste.
  9. Yes I think that’s a good description of dachshunds. Lovely bass btw
  10. I’m on bass and so’s my wife.
  11. Pope of course
  12. I’d wondered what happened to him too. His posts were like his slapping, not for the feint hearted 🥴
  13. I’ve had a couple of those. The hardware was good, just a pickup and pots upgrade and they were very solid performers.
  14. Pretty comfortable by looks of things
  15. I think it’s time for optimism. I’ve invested early and bought shares in Mothercare and STD treatment companies. Buying my dream rig in 12-24 months I reckon.
  16. I believe there are a few other companies at advanced stage of producing a vaccine, it’s just that Pfizer were quicker to get to this stage. So they may not have a complete monopoly in the long term. Hopefully will mean that it will be widely available, if larger economies fund them. This may be more likely in one particular country after recent events....
  17. it won’t be the first time a Pfizer product brings relief to the older population....😂
  18. Didn’t really understand a word of the description. What’s the obsession with “Tele” head stocks btw? (terms & conditions apply)
  19. Depends. The knee bone is connected to the thigh bone, but one isn’t better than the other.
  20. Paul, never forget that everything is always someone else’s fault.
