  1. Sorted thanks to the exceptional kindness of @silverfoxnik What a dude! Thanks Nik.
  2. I’d snap this up but I don’t have the funds and that makes me sick I suffer from no stealth wealth health.

  4. Might be what I’m after. Pm you later? John
  5. Thanks you lot! 😊 A blue snake TE cover sounds very cool. In the mean time I’ve snagged an Ampeg rig. But I’ll keep an eye out for the TE rig.
  6. I’ve found an Ampeg Portabass 2x12 to match the amp I’ve just purchased. It’s in Portslade but I’m in Bath. Big favour I know, but if someone would be willing and able to collect this for me and then I can arrange getting it to my neck of the woods, I’d be grateful. Also having a Bc’er giving it the once over would give me peace of mind. Fuel and drink tokens will of course be met along with making an oldslapper happy 🤪. John
  7. I thought that was the whole idea of Danny’s act?
  8. No, just grubby fingerprints. 😮
  9. Ooh, yes please! They’ll be useful in the green room after the gigs. 😊
  10. I used it to push the boat out earlier on! 😊
  11. Come on Richard we just need a “comb and paper” player and we’ve got a band. 🥳
  12. Nah Mick this is for people with normal size hands ✋🏻
  13. “Build” diary on back of fag packet.
  14. This shouldn’t really come under build diary, as it’s more like a bodged 5 minutes. But nonetheless here’s some pictures and video of the simplest and crudest build evah! Old TeaChest bought off eBay for £17 locally as I couldn’t find one cheaper or free! Strimmer line Broom handle. Nail with head removed. Couple of washers. Drilled a hole in the middle and in the corner where broom handle would sit and in top of handle. Threaded strimmer line through box and secured it with a washer and knot. Did the same the other end after finding a rough length and tension that sounded ok. Inserted nail into other end of broom handle to sit in the corner hole. This is to avoid handle slipping. There you have it. 15 minutes and I’ve got Alemb*c, Fed@r# and a certain lovely someone in Moffat quaking in their shoes!! 😂 Any questions must be sent to my legal team and the taste police. 15. Did anyone here write/email/Twit/farcebook the BBC to voice their displeasure/disappointment/discomfort regarding the show? Seems the most productive thing to do. If you pay for a product you’re not happy with, complain to the source, rather than arguing about it elsewhere. I’m starting a new thread titled “All hootenanny threads are the same”
  16. Screaming Brian?
  17. Thanks Binks! 👍🏻
  18. Sure. If you could let me know the added cost that would be great, thank you.
  19. Why does every TE bargain have to be as far from Bath as possible!!! 😡 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F223828043415
  20. Are you willing to post? Thanks
  21. Anyone have any thoughts on these? Got offered one and I’ve no experience of them. Mostly double bass, but also electric on occasion. The example is old, but in great condition. I’m not worried about low watts as it’s only for on stage monitoring most of the time. Thanks John
