  1. He may of course be a robber who operates near Belsize Park.
  2. Yes it did. I watched his chat on GAS. Very interesting
  3. She’s just described me as “road worn” relic.... I think that means I’m worth a lot, or pointless. Mmmm.😲
  4. Yes but don’t tell the wife 🤫
  5. It’s all about the marketing ! Must get a job at Fe*#der 🥴
  6. 😂 I’d be even more broke, she’s my conscience and accountant. But I’ll put it to her.
  7. Let go of a rare EA cab and a 5 string fretless Stingray at the same time, a couple of years back, for next to nothing. Sold them to help pay towards us relocating. After discovering I’d flogged them, Wife said “why did you sell those, when will we be able to afford to replace them? We could have found another way of meeting the relocation” I should have discussed it first, instead of playing the martyr. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  8. You said 3 songs. That’s hard but here’s my bottom 3 - Gold (Spandex Bolleaux) - Rio (Darren! Darren!) - Come on Eileen (🤭) Dyslexics Mindight Rimmers) Rubbish songs, sung by awful singists, in over rated beat combos. Sums up the 80’s mainstream music scene.
  9. Oh come on Binkers! Mr Trower anyone?
  10. Still, eh! phwoarrrr!
  11. This is the sexiest bass I’ve ever seen, I’m completely in love and feel like I’m somehow a little bit naughty every time I look at it (every day....) 😍🤪🥰😎🤩 so want..... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F183841897220
  12. Sold to my man @BreadBin good to see you B, take care mate!
  13. Just caught LG at the end of the One show, with Nile Rogers looking on. I had to switch channels, it was embarrassing. He hasn’t moved on from the 90’s when his dreadful whiiiiiine was somehow acceptable. But thats MDMA for you. 🤥
  14. https://rgt.org/ I was a bassist teaching bass. But I’m sure you’ll find a bass teacher who can offer you exam tuition who’s not a member of RGT. It’s just my experience. 😎 I also offered Rock-school grades, lots of tutors do too.
  15. Just my opinion obviously, but if you’re going for grades, I’d recommend finding your local RGT registered tutor. My RGT registration expired a couple of years ago when I stopped teaching, but I liked that there’s a bit of accountability, good material and support for both pupil and tutor, plus LCM exams aren’t shabby and have a nice range of styles.
  16. Asking yourself some questions may help you make some important decisions, including who you choose as a tutor. Why do I want lessons? What do I want from lessons? How do I learn best? (Doing, watching, listening, etc) Am I prepared to practice between lessons? IMHO I think it’s a great decision to have lessons! 😊 as an aside, walk away from any tutor who plays “at” you, showing off their fretboard acrobatics. Stay with one that listens to you, challenges you, encourages you, is patient, consistent and isn’t a serial killer. The last one is hard to gauge until it’s too late, but handy to know. Best wishes, have fun!!
  17. Haven’t measured it sorry. It’s sold pending.
  18. Unorthodox Behaviour Brand x ‘76? Went out and bought an unlined fretless as a result. Played one ever since.
  19. I have gas for these 😍
  20. Don’t practice beforehand, forget your set list, leads, and other crucial parts of your gear, don’t research venue parking, and leave home as late as possible, then take up as much of the sound check time getting your tone “just right” . Oh hold on, you’re the bass player, sorry....as you were, follow all the above advice!
  21. £30 Creamy white ply body for a Dufftastic project. Rear loaded, just needs a switch and it’s McKagan’d Ps I have no idea on where to price it, so make offers obvs.
  22. Ok so it’s been a long and dull day at work.... Can we please merge: What spares to take when Over extending yourself with on stage nudity? just to see where that goes? No? Only me?
