  1. I've had to do several takes to check the price. H&K gear is fabulous & this is a bonkers baahgin!
  2. I think their skills will improve once they've moved to big school. So don't be too harsh.
  3. I had the 6 string version, I should have kept that. Great quality vfm.
  4. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F291960540075 🤡
  5. I had one of these once. I got a lovely warm tone from it, almost valve, or Eden warmth. I lent it to someone for a few gigs, never saw it again 🙄. Good luck with the sale!

Mark drove a remarkably long way and delivered a lovely Trace Elliot combo that I bought from him. A gentleman all the way. Cheers that man! 😎
  7. Set of coloured roundwound strings, came off a purchased bass, but I think they look daft, so for a £5 you can enjoy them. I think the G string is not part of the set, but it's silver, so that's a colour, right? If no one wants them, I'll chuck them. Cheers.

  8. Got this as part of a package, but don't need it. Solid USA built 35 watt 1x10" combo. Came from a smokers house, but I've cleaned it and will leave to air before another cleanse. I only say this for disclosure, as its actually in very good condition, but there was a residue cigarette smoke odour when I picked it up. I'm in Bath, but can get about to meet up or deliver within a reasonable distance. Didn't know where to pitch the price, so open to advice. Thanks.
  9. Whichever one you decide to buy can be put in this equally overpriced (& broken)case https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-OVATION-MAGNUM-BASS-CASE-made-in-USA-/123143044812
  10. Seamless transition I thought. No....... Pointless transition I thought.
  11. My first 6 string bass was a Mercury series, lovely bass.
  12. A Fair point, well made.
  13. I think your car will be full enough don't you? However, if you post them out one at a time (leaving out the blue ones), you may have a deal.
  14. £250 Lovely jumbo electro acoustic guitar made by Peerless for Gretsch around 1999-2000. The Historic series were a limited series of guitars made by way of a nod to the original Gretsch's. Bought this for many reasons, including the solid top, wide-ish nut (44.5mm), the Fab looks, the Gretsch name, decent Fishman electrics, Peerless factory build quality & the rarity value. However, these things got in the way of the fact that I don't get on with jumbo size bodies. I've owned 2 before (20 years ago) but changed to small bodied acoustics soon after. So, sadly this has to go....its such a shame as it's the coolest looking guitars that plays & sounds great too. It has new set of 12's on and a schaller strap button fitted to the heal. The original Historic Series truss rod cover has been fitted and the Gretsch triangle sound hole cover is included. It's in a new decent quality gig bag. I'm in Bath, but quite happy to meet up or deliver within reasonable distance, or post at cost (£20). Any questions, do ask.
  15. Unhealthy? Interesting statement. In what way, Emotionally? Mentally? Spiritually? Physically? There's a huge market for tribute acts. It's fun, it's consensual, no one thinks they are the actual band, no-one watching thinks they are either. It's entertainment You don't like tribute bands, good for you.
  16. Turks did you say?
  17. Warning P bass alert!! Can't stand sound of P's solo'd, but love them in a band. I have to take little notice of my "tone" at home as I know that low mids are my friend in a band situation. But then again I'm pretty unimaginative when it comes to basses & tone. 🙂
  18. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😃😃🙂🙂🙂😐😐😐😐😐😕😕😕😕😶😶
  19. No worries. Looks like my Trace gas has been slaked by discreet of this parish, so no need for time travelling shenanigans for now. 😊
  20. Think I may have saved you from your other half's wrath. Having said that, this is going to be very hard for me to "slip past" discreetly.
