  1. 13 gigs (10 of which were made up of 2 small tours). That's enough for me as I don't particularly enjoy gigging (yes, yes, I know....dont go on) But.... lots of studio time this year, recording, writing, arranging which is where I most love to be.
  2. Maybe just me, but every post in this thread had loads of band names..... Just me then....?
  3. Any Dorset BC'ers not gigging this Saturday night 25th November. Thomas Tripp in Christchurch Dorset. Free! 9pm we start. Here's a taster from last year at Christchurch festival.... spot the Mayones... Jo is a great writer, with a terrific band that I'm lucky enough to be part of. Emily Dolan Davies on drums, Dzal Martin on guitar ( check them out)
  4. Depends Mick. Personally I rate these highly for playability, construction, balance & tonal range. Let's not forget they're also made in UK by a reputable company. The 5 string version was my favourite out of my MM & Nanyo BC 5'ers I had at the same time. But they're not too fashionable and (like nanyo Bass collection) don't hold their value. If I played fretted basses, I'd be very happy to pay that money.
  5. My favourite Statii. Love the shallow necks.
  6. Sorry Tim, Paul bought that too... using stealth mode ? I'll update thread.

  9. That seems a very good price for this. Lakland necks are among the best I've ever played, worth it for just that. Glwts
