4. That seems a very good price for this. Lakland necks are among the best I've ever played, worth it for just that. Glwts
5.
Know the weight?
Hi, I'm sorry I don't. I'm away until Wednesday night so can't weigh until then. However I've got interested parties in the body scratchplates & pickups so may be sold by then. Will keep you posted. John
6.
.....a rotary knob which allows you to choose which key the 'knobs' play in.
I'd like one of those for one band I play in.....those knobs are always playing in the wrong key.
7. I use both a P & a J live. Like both to play & the sound of each. The only pain is the drop in volume when I plug in the J (I use both pups on full as that's the sound I want, so it's not a surprise, but just pain to remember to notch the amp up & down a couple of times in the set)
8.
PM'd
Replied sir.
9. Is it my imagination, but pic 12 shows a poor neck joint finish? Just noticed that there are 4 holes on one of the back plates, presumably for "trim pots"...just in case you still can't get the tone you want for the next song....😂
10.
Can't see your pics for some reason. Can see the pics of your sunburst jazz body in the other post though.
Ah, thanks for letting me know. Just fixed it. John
11. All sorted, thanks Gary
12. Sold £90 Fender Body (MIM I believe? neck pocket numbers shown). Body nice condition, with a couple of dings shown against bottle stop for size perspective. Body £90 posted I'm in Bath, happy to meet up. Thanks, John
13.
Is the whole setup guitar still an option?
Sorry no. The neck is now attached to a battered old P Bass body waiting pickup, pots & a scratchplate.
14.
Has the bridge pup route been enlarged? Will a standard set of pickups fit?
I've no idea, doesn't look like its been tampered with... had a jazz pickup in there.
15.
Quite fancy that
It says the same about you...😊
16. 2 fretless necks one rosewood board & one maple. The rosewood has a home made fretless board, not particularly even finish. But might be good if you want to try fretting, or recapping a neck? Jazz profile with F logo. Maple is pretty good, has more chunky P profile. Has "Artist" logo on headstock. £25 the pair. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Zs89VMXfZrURmJ8v1
17. SOLD Nice unloaded solid jazz bass body. "mojo" "roadworn" can describe the condition https://photos.app.goo.gl/JBEjF9RtPZPPoAmI3 £50 plus pp. Or pick up in Bath.
18. Bump for the loaded body only.
19. thanks fellas. Pmd 😎
20. I put a bass up for sale, paying my fee of course. I'm now using the neck for another project, so am selling just the loaded body. The bass was on for £400, but I'm putting the body up for less obviously. It probably need to be transferred to the "other" for sales section, but how do I do that, and do I need to pay the fee again as its over a bullseye. Any clues peeps? Thanks, John
21. Mick, I had the exact same bass. Lovely guitar, 5 strings just not for me. But my sister in law fancies it. I'll pm you. John
