Sheffield.
I'll give it a think over the weekend. I assume it's all in working order and doesn't need any work doing (I'm thinking mainly fretwise)? -

sounds like you want a harmonic perculator or one of its clones. You're sounding a bit steve albini.

Fredric effects do a decent percolator clone and they're regularly on e-bay. I got mine for around £50 posted against £70 new. -
Lots of love for Jazzmasters but I already have one, also a MIJ re-issue. Great guitars for the cash and they look great too which is what really matters.
-
Very nice looking guitar. Shame you're so far away!
-
The bass and guitar t-birds both look amazing.
-
There are too many for the newcomer, and the pricing and country of manufacture thing is a little confusing. I'm sure if I came up with a spec off the top of my head I could find a Fender that fit but it wouldn't be a simple job.
-
Just kidding :-)
Am I wrong in thinking the casing is plastic (albeit high grade stuff) on the Soundblox pedals? Might be a shielding issue. -
Well she'll be around for a while then, whether as a singer or a songwriter time will tell.
-
Wasn't a fan of the 2 songs I'd heard but from that video she clearly has a great voice. It'll be interesting to see if she lasts or indeed writes any of her own stuff.
I'm not qualified to comment on her looks. -
I'm having the same problem with my amp, can anyone help?

What's your favourite humming noise?

Sorry, only just seen this. Wish I'd seen it earlier as I was back home in Chester last month so could have shortened the journey.
I drive and can meet you if you're still interested. -
Warwicks business practice (if what people on here are saying is correct) is very odd. Thankfully, there seems to be a glut of cheap 2nd hand basses on here. I'm tempted to get a loan and stock up on a few for a few years time when you can't get hold of them and people remember what great basses they are!
I currently play a Streamer Pro-M, paid £400 for it and couldn't be happier. Plays really nice and I've had nothing but complements from recording engineers on the sound. -

Love the tele hate the jag. I prefer the old Japanese jaguars look wise (red with matching headstock...)
Same here, the tele looks pretty good. Problem is, I'm pretty small and wear my bass high so most long, slim looking basses look daft on me. -
Weird, I suddenly had GAS for one these yesterday as a cheap P alternative. Didn't manage to find a reasonably priced one so it's another guitar on the list of stuff I want but don't need.

FWIW, i used to gig a alu cone behringer 4x10 with an old Crate head and had no troubles. Sound quality not great but it worked and was loud enough.
You were lucky, mine and every other person I spoke to had the cones come away from the surrounds very quickly. Maybe you got a later model when they fixed the problem? -
Eurgh....
I got one of these recently to fulfil all my Bladrunner fantasies. Much cheaper. http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/lightblade-umbrella/index.html -
Live, I just use a bit of dirt. In the studio, the usual compression/EQ etc nonsence the engineer puts on and very occasionally, a bit of chorus & delay for that Isis sound.
-
I can't quite believe you're selling this Chris!

Maybe chuck in D'Arcy Wretzky and Melissa Auf Der Maur from Smashing Pumpkins - don't often see them mentioned on here, and have laid down some solid rock basslines during their tenancy in arguably one of the biggest Alt/Rock outfits of the last twenty years - it's always the sodding guitards/frontmen/drummers who hog all the limelight
I'm sure I read somewhere that Billy Corgan recorded the basslines on the albums as he's a massive control freak. -

I'm really surprised at that. Brad and Satchel were Shawn's springboard, so to speak, so I thought they'd still be readily available. Try Amazon, and look out for "Shame", "Interiors" and "Welcome to Discovery Park" (all Brad), and "The Family" by Satchel, which features Mike Berg on bass. I had a copy of EDC by Satchel, but struggled with it. I thought it was a bit too "trippy". You might be able to hear them on Spotify too. Conversely, I can't seem to get hold of Shawn Smith's solo stuff...
Massive fan too, even the Pigeonhed album "The Full Sentence" is worth a look. "Battle Flag is fantastic.

I got and fell in love with 'Interiors' for a while but never got any Brad stuff beyond that. Might be time to round out the collection. -
Yep, that should do fine. There's a lot of good feedback for the Behringer units on here.

+1 for Mike Watt and Carol Kaye.
My grunge background demands I mention Ben Shepherd (Soundgarden), Robert Deleo (Stone Temple Pilots) and John Curley (Afghan Whigs). None of them do anything particularly flashy but they're all amazing solid players who know when to go off on their own and when to rein it in.
Guess this bass...
