1. I've been hoping to get one of these to use with my HD210 for big gigs. Sadly I have no spare dosh at the moment
2. This is the non-DI version of the fabulous new Demeter VTBP-M-800D head. Mine is #3 off the production line, signed and numbered by James Demeter. The amp sounds fantastic, with wonderful weight to every note. It's pretty much impossible to get a bad EQ out of it. It's very clean, with loads of headroom. It throws out a ton of volume. Here's my demo video of it: The amp is in perfect condition. Mine also came with the voltage switch, which I understand is normally an optional extra . These are £1125 new in the UK. You can get this one at just over 10% off - a firm £900, and I will include a set of JJ valves (£25), a custom made Roqsolid cover (£27) and a lightweight padded carry bag (£18) for free. No trades thanks. Collection in NE Hampshire or Central London. Courier at extra cost.
3. I should be around too Nik! Sandberg Custom Thinline fretless 5, Fender Americal Special P Bass, BSX Allegro 5, Demeter VTBP-M-800D Amp, Bergantino HD210 cab
4.
I have been nervous about stringing these flats through the body. They're La Bella 760FS (45-105) but I have had flats (different ones) start to crack when they've been strung through. Anyone strung these flats through this bass? I suppose I could put the E through the bridge and the rest through the body.
La Bella make special flats specifically for through-body stringing
5. Happiness is a wam P I just picked up a lovely American Special. Super light, really lovely neck, pure P bass TONE Not wishing to hijack the thread, but want to share the P love....
6. I have two in my office in London and one at home in NE Hampshire if anybody needs them and can collect
7. My band uses two, mainly because we have four band members who sing, and the guitarists play acoustics/mandolins/banjos, so lots of feedback potential. We put one on the FOH and one on the monitors, and they work really well. As above, we leave them on auto and always ring out the venue before we start, and have never had any problems as a result.
8. They look rather nice. I played the Bernie Marsden SE a while back and was astonished at how good it was.
9.
Something for the weekend Sir?
10. Is that a 350X head included with the cabs????? Ridiculous deal if so!!!!!!
11. The TTE heads are fantastic. I would have one back in a heartbeat if I didn't have the Demeter now
12. I played one of these a while back and thought it sounded really good. How heavy is this one Dave, and what's the balance like?
13.
I got one through GuitarGuitar £449.
And??????
14. Sweet little rig, those older SWR cabs are fab
15.
I thought the CTM 30 replaced the Little Bastard because some people didn't like the name. I'm easily confused though. The Ashdown web site has the Little Bastard, but not the CTM 30, so you could be right.
It did, but as you say, the LB remains on the website whereas the CTM30 has gone the way of all flesh...
