I sold a gig bag to Paul. A total gent and the deal went through as smooth as you like. Thoroughly recommended.

As above, does anyone know of a flatwound string that has no taper (or at least very little taper, no more than an inch) and no silks at the ball end?
-
Anyone know of any shops that have these in stock? I need the 5 string set.

I have two Richter straps for sale: a Supreme II and a Saddle II. Richter straps are easily the best I have owned, and the only reason I am selling is they are wider than I need for my current (very light) bass. Even though the leather is thick, they are super soft and caresses your shoulder wonderfully. They are the same width (9cm, or 3.5") and length (100-147cm) just made of different leather combinations. Both straps are in excellent condition, only stopped from being mint by the use of straplocks on both, and an additional hole drilled on the adjustable strap on the Supreme. Supreme II: Buffalo leather outer with sanded brown buffalo leather interior. Saddle II: Bull leather outer with Nappa leather interior Supreme strap II is £80 new and I would like £55 Saddle II is £65 new and I would like £45 Postage is extra, or included if you buy both. Thanks Gareth

I sold a bass to Dan. Impeccable comms and paid up front too. The guy is a gent and I would happily do business with him again. Gareth

I have this wonderful Sandberg Custom Thinline. Mahogany/walnut hollowbody with a 4mm flame maple cap, rosewood fingerboard, nut and floating bridge. Electronics are a 3 band eq with active/passive switch (passive tone control when in passive mode). Just 7lbs, and perfect balance! I've put some low tension flats on it and the woody tone is just wonderful. The hollow body gives terrific bloom to the notes, and the Delano X-Tender pickup has a really even output.

Double bass, EUB? or stick with the Rob Allen
franzbassist replied to Legion's topic in EUB and Double Bass
I play an electric fretless (most recently, Veillette Archtop or P bass) and an EUB (BSX Allegro) at virtually every gig. The EUB is really easy to set up and switching between the two is easy. The BSX has a built in active preamp so no issues at all with onstage sound, and it does a very good facsimilie of a real upright (probably because it is, in essence, a small-bodied DB). The biggest difference I notice when switching between the two is the greater energy from the EUB - it just sounds huge - presumably because of the longer scale and greater string mass. Not sure if this helps -
I sold a bass to Shem. An excellent transaction and a great guy
Sorry Gareth but your timing is rubbish! Excellent price, close enough to come and try, and even seen you demo it on YouTube, but I have just blown my savings on a '73 P. Oh well, you have saved me from embarrassing myself by showing that even a top fretless can't fix my shocking intonation
Haha, no problem. That 73P is a lovely one

I had hoped this would be the one, but GAS means this great bass is up for sale. My lovely Tony Franklin Precision Bass.
