The scratchplate in question is from a 1971 P bass, and has a notcable curl adjacent to the corner of the treble pickup.

I use the Hoscos and they are very good.

A friend of mine, knowing I'm a bass player, assumed I would be able to identify this instrument. I have no idea what it is, but I am confident the BC posse will be able to confirm?! Cheers Gareth

Swapped the necks over and I prefer them this way. Also had the added benefit of shifting the weight a touch, making the basses more equally balanced and weighted.

A good choice. I played that bass the last time I was there and it just felt right. Enjoy!

What is the amp's output at 8 ohms?
