1.
Loving the orange one, beaut!
Yes, it looks orange in the picture and video but it's actually much more of a gold colour.
2. I took delivery of a pair of Fender Tony Franklin basses from the US last week..... I must say I'm blown away by how good they are. The fit and finish is superb (the nitro finishes are beautiful), they were perfectly set up straight out of the box, both balance well, and they have three terrific tones on tap just at the flick of the pickup selector switch. The fretless is 9.5lbs and is now wearing La Bella white nylons, whereas the fretted is 8.75lbs and will soon have Lakland or La Bella flats, but at the moment it has the stock Fender roundwounds. Very, very happy And here's one of my mini video reviews....
3. I've got some spare Rotosounds (the ones Bruce Foxton uses) if you fancy a couple just to try? They are "heavy", 1.1mm I think. No charge
4. I've owned the Ashdown Spyder 550, LB30 and CTM100, and all are superb amps. I really liked the LB212, Klystron Classic and Mi12 cabs too. Customer Service is first class too, possibly the best I have ever had from a large-scale manufacturer.

Another smooth as silk deal with the man from Mancunia!
6. A chat with Joe White in Ash Vale would be a good place to start.
7.
I don't think a strap would go in the pocket.
And there's the deal breaker.... What cheese was in your sarnie?
8. Try some other cabs with your head, you may be surprised (in a good way)
9.
Just read your post, sorry.
No problem at all, and thanks for the reply
10.
Definitely lacking in the storage department though, books and leads are catered for, but nowhere for my clip on tuner.
And a strap with straplocks fitted?
11. I know this is an old thread, but is it possible to store a strap with straplocks fitted to it in the flat zipper pocket of the Vertigo?
12. I assume "Pre-amp out" from the Briefcase to "Line In" on the PB should do it?
13. The Richter Supreme straps are the best I have owned, and the only reason I am selling is to get a different Richter! Even though the leather is thick, it's super soft and caresses your shoulder. The Richter I is 6cm wide: Buffalo leather outer with sanded brown buffalo leather interior, even though the straps are 6mm thick they are incredibly soft and flexible. Made in Germany. The length is adjustable from 100 - 147 cm (39,4 - 57,9'') This strap is in excellent condition, only stopped from being mint by the use of straplocks. Richter I: £45 posted
14. Just picked this up from Old Horse Murphy, but it's too big for the storage space where I keep my basses! It's a great bag, and Nick kept it in superb condition, so it's £160 posted or £150 collected from NE Hampshire or Central London.
15. It's amazing how different people's experiences are... I gigged my LB30, in a Weller/Jam tribute band, with Ashdown 2x10 and 1x15 cabs and PA support in pubs and clubs for 18 months without any problem .
16. My new Tony Franklin fretless has come in a 9lb 8oz, so it feels substantial but is certainly not heavy. It balances well, which to me is just as important, if not more so, when talking P bass!
17. Are you willing to split? I'd be interested in the EX if so.
18. Just picked up Nick's mono double gig bag. A pleasure to finally meet him and conduct this smooth as silk transaction. I wouldn't hestiate to deal with him again. As a BC bonus he also let me borrow a spare scratchplate he had, so I could have one made - that's what I love about BC. Gareth
