    The "official" setup is two ECC83 for the preamp (the two valves next to each other), with a single ECC82 as the driver.

    Not many amps I regret selling, but my LB30 is one of them. In a word........ [size=5][b]TONE[/b][/size]

    Same experience here, but a quick play with the pots sorted it. I put Innovation Silver Slaps on the one I had, which meant I had to use piezo only, but the lower tension and improvement in tone made for a much more satisfying EUB experience!

    I'd imagine an LMII at 11 o'clock into a Schro 1212L would absolutely smoke a Cub/PB300. As I said earlier, even using the M300/6B combo I always thought it wasn't that loud, and you'd be moving a lot less air with the Cub/PB300.

What he hasn't told you is he did a bit of detective work and a fresh set of La Bella flats just popped through my letter box from him this morning! Totally unnecessary but much appreciated.
