1.
Every buyer I have dealt with bought and paid for the gear in one sitting, every trade I have made went smoothly, every bit of gear I bought without seeing has been as described and was sent as soon as payment was made (or even before) Must be lucky
+ 1, and I have bought and sold and traded a lot of stuff on here! Sorry to hear your experiences have been bad The Greek
2. Lack of finances forces my hand kinda bump
3.
Hi, looks great, but well out of my price range im afraid... cheers, Andrew
I figured as much. Not to worry.
4.
KingBass! I know
Nowt wrong with that. I loved the idea of the KB, owned a prototype briefly too, but just couldn't get on with the ergonomics. Shame I can't tempt you with my Veillette
5. This is great stuff; got to love a bit of baritone guitar! I'd love to put myself forward, but fear I am way too old (45) and distant (work in London but commute in) to be a viable option! Good luck Gareth
6. Sounds quite early Police-ish, and I mean that as a compliment!
7. My Veillette is a very punchy 5 string, and I'm looking for a nice Precision. Any interest?
8.
This still hasn't sold!?!?!
I guess the fact that it is a) an unusual make expensive, means the market is small, even moreso in these rarified times...
9. I'd love this, but I need my Veillette to sell first...
10. The 1400X is an awesome amp. Tons of headroom.
11.
A very well balanced 5kg. I was suprised, my Overwater J 4 feels heavier!
Too heavy for me I'm afraid....
12. Fabulous bass. What's the weight and balance?
13. Isn't Voxpop looking for an SWR cab at the mo?
14. Great basses. I've had one in the past and it really was top notch. I'm M3 corridor and would buy it if I had any spare cash; the only trade bait I have, if the OP is even interested in trades, would involve cash my way And nobody has mentioned the slipper action going on in the corner of the picture! Anyway, bump for a excellent piece of kit. Cheers Gareth
15. These are the absolute business! I had one and wish I'd never sold it. Yes they are heavy, but oh the sound.......
16. I've only been on the upright for about a year, and don't even own a full size bass - I play a hybrid BSX Allegro 5 - so I guess my comments are very much those of a newbie too. My bass came with Spiro Weichs on it, but I wanted something lower tension and went for Innovation Silver Slaps. They have, for me, the perfect tension, they also feel great under the fingers, and I just love the sound. The action on my bass is about 7mm at the end of the fingerboard, which is fine my playing style in both pizz and slapping. The bass is piezo only, built into the bridge. I don't change my eq at all between slapping and pizz. Cheers Gareth
17. One of the guitarists in my band uses one. He started with the Para DI and liked it so much, both in terms of build quality, reliability, and functionality, that he decided to upgrade to the Venue. It's early days but he seems very impressed and pleased with it, especially the extra features of the built in tuner, mute and boost. Expensive, but you get a lot of bang for your buck.
18. Ain't Google a wonderful thing!
19. I pikced up an H2 from Toasted a few months back and I must say it's been a terrific purchase; dead easy to set up and use. We record all our rehearsals with it now and will be trying it at a gig in due course too. Also might have a go at some Youtube clips synching it with my HD camera.
20. I'd go for this, a 66 Fender Bass V.... Only $4.6K
