1.
Why is there a garden hose fitted on the back of the amp? Is it for cooling?
Indeed, not to mention the ride on mower and mountain bikes that I included as optional extras!!
 2. Sorry folks, decided to withdraw this as I really can't justify the expense of changing rigs even if I do sell this. Apologies.
 3.
Hello, won't you split ? (M300)
Hi Gilles The amp and custom flight case would be £625 plus shipping. Cheers Gareth
 4.
Thought that rig would be a keeper Gareth.
There's very little in it to be honest. I really like this rig and won't lose any sleep if it doesn't sell. The Cub is definitely a keeper.
 5. Hello all I have no real desire to sell this rig, but a real lack of finances force my hand.... What you get:

One M300 amp wth custom flight case
Two 6B cabs with soft covers plus one padded cover from Hotcovers
One PJB speaker cable
You can see my review of the rig here. I don't think I need to add anything, other than to say this is a hell of a lot of rig! Price is a very firm £1500 for a six month old rig that would total £1900 if you bought it new. Buyer collects from NE Hampshire. Thanks Gareth
 6. I would definitely take this if someone would buy my Veillette.
 7.
As for the spalted Wal - belongs to Walbassist - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=24969 Now if somebody can keep him talking while I "relocate" it..
Actually, I sold that bass last year and am now playing Veillette basses exclusively.
 8.
i'm definately going to try through some PJ heads, even if the best ones are a little on the heavy side - just worried that the smaller one might not be powerful enough for some gigs. Does any one know of anywhere in the Bristol/North Somerset area that stocks them?
If you can make it to Hampshire you are more then welcome to try out my PJB M-300 head.
 9. These are very good cabs. I used to own one and it is one of the few cabs I regret selling.
 10.
Anybody wanting to do business can do so with absolute trust and confidence..Great guy..
Plus the one to that. Phil is great to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.
 11.
oh no GAS attack
Having owned both a Godin and a Veillette, I have to say the latter smokes the former in every way... but then it is twice as much too!
 12.
I'm not convinced it's short scale Gareth. I suspect it just looks a little that way thanks to the perspective of the photo. Anyhow, we'll know for certain soon enough once Joe & Co are back from NAMM. Phil
Indeed. I meant to say that I suspected it to be short scale.
 13. If you like my Archtop then check out Joe's newest bass, the Concorde, which Phil and I are guessing is a short scale hollowbody.
 14.
??? I never got a PM from you - just checked my Inbox again and there's definitely nothing there. Sorry. Judging by the time that you posted (above) that you'd sent a PM, it's impossible to tell who would have got there first, you or the eventual buyer.
No worries. I just checked and there's nothing in my outbox either, so I guess the net gremlins ate my PM! Cheers Gareth
 15. Interested in the H1, but also wondering about the Alesis Protrack; am I correct in assuming you can plug a bass in one channel and use the integral mic in the other?
 16.
Ouch! 13/18 time is one of the trickier ones to match ...
17.
Just a quick question if you don't mind. Did you say that the string spacing on this bass is 16mm?
That is correct.
 18. Cool test! High for everything (99% perception, 99% enthusiasm, 100% emotional, 92% social and 94% curiosity) The scores on the doors: Group the music 3 jazz with 1 hip hop 3 hip hop with 1 pop 3 pop with 1 jazz 4 rock! 13/18 on match the beat 5 medium and 4 low tap to the beat - what? 11/12 melody memory
 19. I've had a lot of interest in this bass but no one has gone for it yet, so I'm going to bump this down to £850 posted using a basic (i.e. 3-5 day service with only minimal insurance) in the UK to see if that does the trick.
 20.
Euphonic Audio - the eq really isn't complicated! Look out for a used iamp 800. I used the 500 for a few years with great results, and never felt it lacked anything - just lets your bass sound like it does.
What he said
