1. The one bass I have always dreamed of owning...
2. Going to knock £100 off so now just £1400 collected!
3.
Jesus that is some rig! have a 'bowed down in awe before the mighty jones rig' bump on me...
Thank you Redd!
4. Don't know about the rest, but Gruhn Guitars are a huge and well respected US dealer.
5. Happy to let a single 6B go for £400 collected.
6.
Hi Gareth, I have a beautiful custom built Stave Azola Bug Upright if you fancied a trade? Cheers Andrew
Hello Andrew Thanks, but my BSX Allegro is ticking all my upright boxes. Cheers Gareth
7.
Well I suppose being over here in Dublin Ireland restricts the possibilities of any trades probably. My current rig is an eden wt550 and 2 x GS12 cabs.... which I'd trade against your rig with some cash, but it's the kind of thing you'd have to meet up to do really, that's assuming you were interested.
That's a nice rig, but not for me I'm afraid.
8.
Ouch. I'd dearly love to try that rig out. Fancy trades or are you too strapped?
Hi there I'd much prefer cash, or at least a trade plus cash to me. What have you in mind? Cheers Gareth
9. I've wanted a year of my birth P for ages. Shame I can't afford it at this time.
10. I sold a Ken Smith to Rainer. He's a great guy to deal with and owns some amazing basses.
11. I use an M300 and one or two 6B cabs depending on the gig. Sounds amazing - very clear and articulate - and it fills the room in a very natural, non-directional way. A single 6B is fine in my roots acoustic band (two acoustic guitars and a keyboard through the PA, with an unmiked drummer), but for anything bigger I add a second 6B. I've heard the 12B is a really good single cab option, but that's pretty big! I also have the two channel 100 watt Cub, and that is amazing for it's size. Any questions, let me know. Cheers Gareth
12. Sensible offers invited.
13. Great heads these.
14. Gallien Krueger MB212? No idea what it's like, just sayin'... • 500W Digital power amp • 1/8” aux input • Headphone jack • Defeatable limiter • Two 12” neodymium speakers • Active 4 band EQ with contour • XLR output • 26.75x19.5x14.75 • 37 lbs.
15. Made me a custom flight case for my PJB head. Perfect fit (thanks to my spot on measurements, natch) and built like a tank. Only one item admittedly, but very happy with them and the product, so would recommend.
16. Happy to sell all items separately too: Flightcased M300 - £625 (Best price I've seen is £800) Single 6B - £425 (£529) Both 6Bs - £840 (£1058)
17.
I'd say Mono, but only because of the weight. They also have more pockets than the others recommended so far. The Protec are excellent though, but I found them to be a tad heavy, but I'm a wimp.
Whereas I'd say the Protec! The Mono edges it on weight, cool looks and funky materials, plus if your bass has an angled headstock it's much better. But, it's twice the price of the Protect Contego, and to my mind the Protec is sturdier and your bass would be better protected from damage. YMMV, we agree to disagree etc....
18. I would imagine the main issue here would be intonation. While fretted 8s are okay I guess if your intontation is out on a fretless 8 it'd sound pretty nasty?
19.
Every buyer I have dealt with bought and paid for the gear in one sitting, every trade I have made went smoothly, every bit of gear I bought without seeing has been as described and was sent as soon as payment was made (or even before) Must be lucky
+ 1, and I have bought and sold and traded a lot of stuff on here! Sorry to hear your experiences have been bad The Greek
