1.
Gareth, No, not damaged, it's still as gorgeous as ever. Trouble is, I've been made a tentative offer for it that I can't really refuse and, although I dearly want to keep hold of it, needs must. At least I have a Paris on the way in a month or two. Phil PS. Thanks all for the suggestions.
Wow, I would say I'm surprised, but as I'm selling my Brook I can't really! Is it staying in the UK or going overseas?
 2. Hi Phil My Brook came in a Kinsman case from JHS. It does the job. Looks like they're around £55 online. Why do you need to ship your bass? Is it damaged? Cheers Gareth
 3.
After re-think and lots of communication with Eminence players (all happy!) I am adding this back to my potential buy list. Following advice on how an Eminence should play, I am pretty confident that the one I tried at the Gallery was just not set-up right and needed lower tension strings. So does anyone have a nice playing Eminence they wish to move on?
Hi Clarky I agree. I bet lower tension strings and running it into a suitable imepdance head or pre would make a huge difference. Also, that bass is a commission sale and when I asked Alex about it a while back he came back to me with a reduced price, so may be worth checking again (unless he already volunteered the info when you visited)? Cheers Gareth
 4. I think Toby Chennell uses these as standard on the basses he makes, which seems like a pretty good recommendation.
 5.
I've just PM'd Gareth to let him know I'm out on this one, hanging on for something that lets me get a bit low slung when the mood takes me Cheers for hanging on though mate, appreciated! Mike
Pleasure Mike, thanks for letting me know. PM'ing you know Pete.
 6.
I'll have it please. PM me the payment details. Pete
Hi Pete Just waiting to hear back from Mike whether he is definitely out of the running. If so, PM will follow. Cheers Gareth
 7.
Is it the regular length or the XL? I'm a right lanky bugger, not sure if the standard length is quite enough for my tastes!
I believe Regular. I can measure for sure when I get home tonight if you like?
 8. After many years talking about selling gear to one another, David and I finally concluded our first transaction when David bought my Aria EUB last week. Great communication, fast payment and a real pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
 9.
I still think it's a good idea to get the Brook guys to put it on the 'Shop' part of their website; they'll be very happy to help. I'm sure it's more likely to sell there than here, in all honesty... and it would be a shame to undervalue it here. You've got it for a very low price considering it's a world class instrument.
Thanks for the comments guys. I agree that the price is ridiculous, but I guess that's the market right now. I've spoken to Simon and we'll be putting it up on the site in due course. He also said he felt £1600 was about right for it, so I'll leave it at that on here for now. Not that it looks like anyone will be buying it soon anyway.
 10. I have one of these in black. Pretty much mint. UK prices seem to be around £14 new, so how about £9 posted first class. Paypal as a "gift" is okie dokie. Cheers Gareth
 11.
Why are you selling this? Probably one of the nicest basses on the site
I know. It's stunning to look at and just as much fun to play, but my requirements have changed as I am upgrading my EUB and don't have the spare readies to keep this too.
 12. Graet bags these. Light, easy to move, and just the right amount of padding.
 13. SPECIAL OFFER FOR THE WEEKEND ONLY £1400 PLUS POSTAGE!!!
