1.
and could be prized from my sweaty grasp if somebody wanted it....
!!!!!!!
 2. As a relative newbie to upright, I put some temporary dots on the side of my BSX when I first got it. However, I removed them pretty quick as, quite frankly, they were offputting and I spent more time looking at them than listening to what I was playing.
 3. Just picked up Toasted's Zoom H2 (thanks Joe) and I am amazed at how good it sounds. After downloading Reaper, I hooked it up to my PC and, after a couple of minutes setting levels and working out the basics of Reaper, recorded three tracks (one mandolin rythym track, one lead mandolin track, double bass) and finished my first tune! I think this will be really a really useful bit of kit, both for recording gigs and rehearsals, as well as more studio based stuff. Well chuffed! Gareth PS I would upload the tune, but unfortunately I deleted it by mistake!!!
 4. Just bought a Zoom H2 from Joe. He posted it on the afternoon we agreed the deal, even though I couldn't get to the bank to pay him until that evening. Item was 100% as described. Definitely one of the good guys.
 5. These are great cabs. I had two of the 1x12s from this era and they really were superb.
 6.
if this one was fretless........ my god just a beauty
Defrets are not expensive
 7. Putting up the set of 1/2 scale Spiro Weich plus a medium low B that came fitted to my BSX Allegro. They've seen better days, with some fraying of the silks and tape separation at the headstock end of the strings, but they tuned up okay when I put them on the BSX when it arrived (it had been shipped with the neck off) before I replaced them with Silver Slaps. They are about 60" total length, made up of 5.5" ball end silk, then 48" actual string, then 14-15" [A and D], 9" [E and G] and 8" [low B] of silk at the headstock end. Cheers Gareth NOW SOLD
 8. UK dealer says it'll probably be £799 RRP.
 9.
But how much ? I'm scared about the price...
Yes, that's the bottom line for me too. If it's a competitive price I am sure I'll buy one to replace the M-300, if not the M-300 will do just fine.
 10.
Is this the same man as was selling his PJB a week ago?
Yes indeed! I have wanted the D600 ever since I first saw the protoype, so this is one change that will happen!
 11. Gilles, when this arrives you can buy my M-300 (if you still want it)
 12.
Gareth = I'm fairly torn between either a PJB or EA head. If the EA Doubler sounds as good as the PJ M300 head through my cab, I'd rather go for that as it's considerably lighter. I noticed in the Sale section of the forum that you almost sold your PJB rig to buy an EA rig... - Was this because of weight, or purely because of sound? If it was the sound, was it the EA head you prefered, or the EA cab? - Have you tried an EA head through your PJB cabs? If so, did it sound as good as your PJ head and which head did you try/consider?
Hi James Truth is I think both are great setups. I watched a video of my band playing last Saturday, where I used my full PJB rig, and it sounded amazing; the room was filled with wonderfully warm yet articulate bass, but without any boom. Haven't tried EA into PJB. I like the EA micro heads because they are small and powerful, but the M300 is more versatile. I have a felling the Doubler or Micro with a PJB cab would be the ideal solution... Does that help? Gareth
 13.
Free bump for a FANTASTIC piece of kit. Absolutely brilliant for full band live recordings or more pristine solo efforts.
Which is whay I am going to buy it!
 14. Hi Joe What condition is it in? SD card and PSU included? Cheers Gareth
 15.
Why is there a garden hose fitted on the back of the amp? Is it for cooling?
Indeed, not to mention the ride on mower and mountain bikes that I included as optional extras!!
 16. Sorry folks, decided to withdraw this as I really can't justify the expense of changing rigs even if I do sell this. Apologies.
 17.
Hello, won't you split ? (M300)
Hi Gilles The amp and custom flight case would be £625 plus shipping. Cheers Gareth
 18.
Thought that rig would be a keeper Gareth.
There's very little in it to be honest. I really like this rig and won't lose any sleep if it doesn't sell. The Cub is definitely a keeper.
 19. Hello all I have no real desire to sell this rig, but a real lack of finances force my hand.... What you get:

One M300 amp wth custom flight case
Two 6B cabs with soft covers plus one padded cover from Hotcovers
One PJB speaker cable
You can see my review of the rig here. I don't think I need to add anything, other than to say this is a hell of a lot of rig! Price is a very firm £1500 for a six month old rig that would total £1900 if you bought it new. Buyer collects from NE Hampshire. Thanks Gareth
 20. I would definitely take this if someone would buy my Veillette.
 21.
As for the spalted Wal - belongs to Walbassist - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=24969 Now if somebody can keep him talking while I "relocate" it..
Actually, I sold that bass last year and am now playing Veillette basses exclusively.
 22. This bass is now SOLD.
 23.
i'm definately going to try through some PJ heads, even if the best ones are a little on the heavy side - just worried that the smaller one might not be powerful enough for some gigs. Does any one know of anywhere in the Bristol/North Somerset area that stocks them?
If you can make it to Hampshire you are more then welcome to try out my PJB M-300 head.
 24. These are very good cabs. I used to own one and it is one of the few cabs I regret selling.
 25.
Anybody wanting to do business can do so with absolute trust and confidence..Great guy..
Plus the one to that. Phil is great to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.
