    I would highly recommend putting a mag pickup in the bass instead of the piezo. So much easier to use at giggable volumes and dial in a tone you like. I had Krivo in the US custom make one for me, which I installed with some Schatten thumbwheel volume and tone controls, and it transformed the bass.

    Here is a set of hardly used Copper White Nylon flats by La Bella. Silks in excellent condition and strings are cut for a 3 over 2 headstock. 760C-B Long scale (60/70/94/115/135) - gauge sounds heavy but they are actually standard tension £55 new, these are £28 posted

    Turn the gain knob down until the clip light stops lighting up. It should only come on when you really hit the bass hard.

    What's the current finish? It's worth remembering that some poly fnishes gloss up again over time unless you go down to the wood.

    I am loving the 1210! I've had the chance to run it at volume now and it sounds really great. It can get very loud but retains its shape very well. I especially like the down-firing port on the bottom, which can be plugged if its booty gets too big.
