I sold a wiring loom to Pete. Not the most expensive transaction, granted, but carried out with great comms and quick payment. I would be very happy to deal with him again

SOLD: Providence Dual Bass Station - £140 price drop
franzbassist posted a topic in Effects For Sale
I am selling my Providence Dual Bass Station. This is a really useful pedal if you like to use two basses at each gig, or have two pickups on an upright, or want two differnet eqs for one bass, as you effectively have two 3 band preamps in a very tidy little package. Sweepable mids mean it has very versatile EQ options. It also has loads of headroom. A review is here, and a sound sample here. This one is in overall excellent condition. A couple of little chips have been covered with a matching nail varnish and then lacquered. There are no feet, but it has two strips of heavy duty velcro on the bottom, and comes with a UK power supply. No original box I'm afraid. Andertons and Thomann list these for £250: I am firm on £140 posted 1st Class Recorded in the UK. -
John was kind enough to put a new wiring harness together for me, but it was only after it was delivered that I realised I'd ordered solid and not split shafts by mistake, so I haven't fitted it. It's a 500K CTS log pot for the volume and a 250K CTS pot for the tone, both solid shaft in medium thread which is 3/8" long. The capacitor is an old Sprague 0.1uF, which John told me would give a velvety mellow tone. The wires are PVC insulated, all finished off with a Switchcraft jack socket. As usual with John's stuff, it comes pre-wired and fitted with a solderless connection, so dead easy to fit. It also comes with a pair of black Gotoh knurled dome knobs, which cost me another £10. The harness cost me £35: as it's brand new and never fitted I'd like £30 sent Recorded Delivery.
I'm interested but live in germany, do you happen to know how much shipping would be? I have a lot of gear that I am willing to trade. Can give you a list and make pics when I'm back home (8th Sep).
I'm not interested in any trades thanks. If you message me your address I'll get a shipping price for you. -
I sold an HPF pedal to Tom. Very smooth deal and happy to recommend him 100%
Just had a brand spanking new Noll TCM 3 band pre-amp with blend and A/P switch installed in my Aries by a certain Mr Walsh, absolute outstanding pre-amps.
Couldn't agree more, it's just wasted in my fretless as I never use the active circuit - it just sounds so good in passive!

Terrific little amp in superb condition. The size belies the volume that it can put out. All the spec is here, but it basically puts out 300 watts into 4 ohms and weighs 1.45kg! simple but powerful 4 band eq (no VLE or VPF) clip light XLR, tuner and speakon out effects loop Brilliant bit of kit. Ships in original box. £339 new, I'm firm on £260 posted in the UK.

This is a clone of the F-Deck HPF (High Pass Filter) Pre, made by 4114 effects here in the UK. I bought it to tame the low end rumble on my double bass, and it performed flawlessly the one time I gigged with it. I'm only selling as I am switching to a new Bassbone OD for live work, which has HPF built in. I believe the frequency sweep is 35 hz to 140 hz, and it also has a volume control and phase switch. Please note that the unit needs to be powered by 9V DC: there is no provision for connection to a battery. It has heavy duty velcro fitted to the bottom. Cost me £95 two months ago and in mint condition, so this saves a little on a new one

Recently bought this used to use with my fretless, but the reality is that I just don't use it Really easy to use with some lovely warm tones. A few marks but nothing serious. Velcro on bottom. Standard 9V DC centre negative power supply in a Boss(ish) sized case. Here's Rene doing his thing with one (some of the settings are a bit wacky IMHO).
