Here are my two, a 2013 Recurve "Graft" fretted 5, mahogany over alder, 3 piece 33" scale maple neck, passive, and a 2015 Recurve "Standard" fretless 5, white limba, 3 piece ash/bubinga neck, P-Retro EQ. Totally blown away by how good these basses are. The playability is just second to none. I think this shows why they are called Recurve...

I bought Ian's ACG. He was very patient while I took some time to get the cash together, answered my numerous questions about the bass in detail and with great patience, and it was sent with packaging that was top notch. We've transacted before, and I suspect we'll transact again. He's a Basschat legend

Have you tried adjusting the (basic) bridge too? One possibility would be to fit an aftermarket pickup, such as the Fralin, which i believe does have staggered pole pieces.

Sadly, the project was cancelled so I moved it on before ever really using it. It's now on sale at [url="http://www.bassgear.co.uk/product/ashdown-ctm-30/"]Bass Gear[/url]. It's less than two months old and in mint condition, if that's of interest?

Karl is a Basschat legend, and given how much gear we both go through I'm amazed it's taken us so long to do a deal! Anyway, he bought a pair of TKS cabs off me and was a pleasure to deal with all the way. Great comms and quick payment. I recommend him most highly. Cheers Karl
