2. Will the Nano boards come with some spare tape to put on the pedal?
3. I hope he keeps the word "brill" in the ad
4. Hello Mark, and welcome to Basschat.
5. My new Franz is chambered
6. These are fabulous basses. Really light, well balanced, sustain and TONE.
7. Nordstrand would be my guess, probably this one... http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Nordstrand_Nordy_NJ5_Blue_2011_files/nordfronttop.jpg
8. I like the look of the M Bass 500. I like the price even more!
9.
Ashdown Retroglide??
You beat me to it! Seems the obvious choice, or the Ashdown Mark King/JJ Brunel head if you want non-digital?
10. A crazy good deal
11.
At least it wasn't the G...
You beat me to it...
12. If anyone is interested, "flat" on a Puma is everything at noon apart from bass cut to nearly 11, and hi mids boosted to nearly 1.
13. Couldn't agree more. I have a Bonafide (basically two Puma 500s in one casing) and a 300. Fab amps.
14. When I started on 5s I found just playing a walking bass line over and over really helped, as instead of shifting up you can drop down without shifting hand position.
15.
or "polishing your chops"....
I've heard of marbled meat, but.... You'll be saying it makes you "play like butter" next Owen
16. Put a piece of dowel, that fits the hole well, in from the other side and tap out gently with a hammer.
17. Brill amp, even briller price
18. Hello folks During my conversion to a Tecamp backline late last year, I purchased the last Dream Buzz Deluxe pedal they made. However, now I've calmed down a bit I realise that it's over the top for what I need, so it's up for sale. (Stock Image) This is the most refined overdrive pedal I've ever had. It can do anything from mild, tube-like warmth to full on "cut your head off" metal mayhem! Turn the Buzz control down and you can also use it as a volume boost or eq pedal. Quick video shot on the iPad here. No loss of bottom end with this pedal. Best wear headphones, and forgive my amateurish playing.... http://youtu.be/5rSz47F1oLg I noticed that the Contour control is a little scratchy, but I suspect some cleaner will sort it. I have tested it using a 9V battery but don't have an external PSU to sell it with. It comes in the original box and is unused save for testing. New, these were about 200 euros and never very plentiful on the market. As I said above, this is the last one made, and is yours for £125 posted using 2nd Class Recorded Delivery. Thanks for looking. Gareth
19. Taken off my new Franz. Unused. Price includes 2nd class Recorded.
20. Woodwork all done. Can't wait to see the finish on this!
21. If yours are 37" as above, then yes, the long scale should fit.
22.
Thanks. Does this feel in any way textured?
No, they feel very smooth under the fingers.
23. Standard long scale La Bellas are 37" from ball to start of the silks, so suggest you measure your bass to see if they fit. Don't let the 60-115 fool you, the tension is just fine, quite low actually... You can see how fine the wrap is on the new black nylons in this pic of my bass (open image in a new tab for full size!)
