I like the 1126 a lot, as I prefer the more natural upper mids the 6" driver produces over tweeters. That said, I ended up buying a pair of S112s (without tweeters), as I thought two 1126s would be overkill and the size and price of the S112s is pretty compelling. I've not regretted the decision as the pair pump out plenty of volume

I am selling my less than a year old Providence Dual Bass Station. This is a really useful pedal if you like to use two basses at each gig. Hugely versatile EQ options. A review here Sound sample here This one is in excellent condition, in original box, with UK power supply. Cheapest I have found in the UK is £195. I am firm on £140 posted 2nd Class Recorded.

I know there are lots of Tonehammers up for sale at the moment, but I'm keen to buy Oldman's Tecamp, so thought I'd see if anyone is interested in mine. The bag is excellent. Mine holds the amp, power cable, speaker cable, an instrument lead and a tuner and patch lead. Excellent condition apart from a few lights scratches to the top (ignore my thumb print at the top!) £435 posted, or I'll knock £15 off if you can collect from Hampshire. Here's a review of the same model I did a while back: Thanks Gareth

Lee is an A1, 100%, gold plated BC member of the first order. Even simple transactions, like the strap I just sold him, are a pleasure.
Is that the 'Pro-Go' Gator bag?
That's the one.

SOLD: Vintage Fender Bassman 135 & matching Fender 15" cab

It's a trade off. Two bags is a pain in one way, whereas one bag is cumbersome and more heavy. If you really want to do it though, the new Gator bag is very nice and well priced though.

A couple of guys have asked about the volume.... Because of the lower gain first stage, you'll need to get the master volume up to about 2pm to really open it up for live work, but once you get there it's got the valve thing going on in spades. And it really does stay clean too, just as I wanted. There are a ton of tones in there too, from deep sub bass to glassy highs! Through a couple of decent sized cabs I am sure you could do a medium-sized pub no problem, plus of course the DI out on these gives you all that lovely valve tone as well if you need reinforcement out front. -
It is with some considerable reluctance that I put up my brand new UK custom shop Ashdown CTM30 for sale, but my amplification needs have changed since I ordered it. This amp is UK made, unlike the standard “Made in PRC” version, but is slightly different from the production model as it is fitted with ECC81s in the preamp stage instead of ECC83s. This is because I wanted an amp where the signal didn't break up easily, staying clean as volume increased. I understand that Ashdown also fitted different resistors too, to ensure the amp ran as efficiently as possible with this valve configuration. As the amp has been made especially for me, I also asked for white chicken head knobs to be fitted instead of the standard black rotaries. Needless to say, the amp doesn’t disappoint, as it provides a lovely clean valve tone without the normal breakup that characterises the standard CTM30 (and the LB30, on which it was based). It’s perfect for recording, which is why I bought it, but is loud enough to handle small/medium gigs as well. The amp is brand new. I have only plugged it in to test it before posting, but it has never been gigged. £450 gets it delivered to your door, which given the standard production model retails at £599 is quite the deal. Collection from Hampshire also welcome for £435.

Yes, definitely worth getting your nut checked (!), and lower tension flats could help too. LA Bella white nylons are an excellent choice in this regard.

Two brand new and unused Springbreak straps by Richter Leather of Germany. They are lovely but just too wide for me. Both are made of very high quality, soft nappa leather. One is all black, one is brown with white stitching. Adjustable from 98 to 140 cm in increments of 2 cm. Width is 11 cm. There are 3 holes in the adjustable rear part of the strap. They look like this: £51 in the UK, I'd like £40 posted for each.
I use one of these: http://www.radialeng.com/bigshotio.php
Also excellent. Bombpoof and passive so no need for power. You can trim the gain on one input to balance the two instruments.

If you want EQ, then two units to consider are the Radial Bassbone and the Providence Bass Station. I have used both over the years with great success, but prefer the Providence overall.
