1.
I was about to say that .
Too many
2. I've been gigging two Tecamp 15" cabs since the start of the year, and I must say they sound the biz. They each have a 4" driver as well, which sweetens them up a touch. Here's one from a little "cave time" day I had a couple of weeks ago
3. Both my ACGs live in the Mono Sleeve, and of all the Mono cases it's my favourite model... and this from someone who has owned them all! It's well padded, the pocket actually expands to be pretty big (I put my Tecamp Puma, a speaker cable, instrument lead, power lead, strap, tuner, patch lead and iPad in mine for rehearsal last night), and like all Mono stuff it's really well made. I have had no experience of the splitting Ambient mentions. There are three things I'd change if I could though: i) the buckle system works, but is a bit naff ii) I'd prefer the bottom of the outside of the bag to be lined with the heavy duty rubber used on the Mono backpack range iii) I'd swap the orientation of the handle to the other side, to make it a more natural carry for right-handed folk All round, an excellent bag though.
4. And here's the ebony board
5. Hi folks Here we have [s]three[/s] [s]two[/s] one "Raw III" leather strap from Richter of Germany. They are 9 cm wide and normal adjustable length is 100-147 cm. I think the maximum length they will go to having been trimmed in 137cm. Please note that the straps are seconds, although they are still very high quality, and have also been modified by me at the tail end of the main strap to make them slightly shorter. Images to show the straps in detail below. You will see that one strap is a slightly darker brown, and that one was trimmed by one notch more than the others. You can see where I trimmed the main straps in detail here: Cheapest I can find these for is £38 new, so as these are seconds and modified, I am looking for £20 each posted, or buy all three for £55 posted. Thanks for looking. Gareth
6.
Give me a pm with your other straps,it's my birthday in a couple of weeks I am tempted by a new one of these though in wine red mmmmm!! Do the ones your selling have your initials on them?
Hi Lee No initials on these, they only have the Heistercamp logo on them. Cheers Gareth
7.
I was going to say that myself!!! You are a veritable connoisseur of leather strappage very nice you've just put these on my radar. How does it compare to the lovely richter straps?
Haha, I know, I'm unstoppable! They are softer and thinner than the Richters.
8.
Jeez Gareth! How many straps do you have?
Too many. Some others will be going up soon too
9. I have [s]two[/s] one of these wonderful straps from Heistercamp's "Raw" range, brand new and unused, in black. The strap holes are punched for straplocks. The nubuck leather is very soft, and they are a custom 8cm width, so slightly wider than their standard 3" width. Adjustable from 44"-50". New, these would be £98 for the pair. As they are brand new and unused, save for fitting the straplocks, I am willing to knock a tenner off each. They come in their own little fabric storage bag too! £39 each posted, or £75 the pair posted 2nd class Recorded. Thanks for looking. Gareth
10. The slim C is a lovely profile. It was on my American Special P basses, and they were something er... special

13.
I'm in the market for some new cabs so maybe I'll add them to the list. I see they're at the London Bass Guitar Show, I may have to go in order to hear them, just not sure I could put up with the inevitable wall of slapping noise at these things
If you want to hear two Tecamp XS115s in action, which will no doubt be rebadged as Eich and added to the new range in due course, I am close to you.
14. Try this

16. I am blown away by Alan's basses, so much so that as a 50th birthday present to me my family are all clubbing together to buy me a new 5 string fretted to go with my two Recurves. Alan has been very patient with me while I fret over the spec, but we've now settled on the following: Shape: Krell A Type Scale: 33” Body core: Alder (lightweight) Top/veneer: Myrtle with Black 1mm veneer Neck woods: 5 piece Maple/Mahogany, bolt on Fingerboard: Macassar Ebony Radius: flat Head plate to match body top, with black veneer Back plate to match body, with black veneer Bridge: ACG/Hipshot 18mm spacing black Pre-amp ACG DFM 4K AP Pickups: FB series in 32 x 110 casings Gotoh GB350 Resolite tuners Dunlop dual design Straplocks Standard finish of oil rubbed satin lacquer Here's the top
17. Here we have a lovely SoloStrap by GruvGear. Super soft black leather, lightly padded, with a suede lining that means it won't slip on the shoulder. The GruveGear length adjustment system is simple but secure. Brand new and unused, in black. £89 RRP, I'd like £60 posted 2nd Class Recorded.
18. My YOB bass, right there....
19. I have loads of leave left to take from work, so as I had no meetings today I took a day off and am spending it with my basses Simple pleasures...
20.
I suspect I'll have a go at some cheaper bits first and foremost, just to get a feel for what I want.
There's so much choice. Empress do a nice 3 in 1 pedal, the EHX Soul Food sounds good to me too, EBS Valvedrive and Billy Sheehan pedals....Good luck!
