  1. Some nice upgrades for your Dingwall bass. They were fitted to a bass very briefly. Knobs - £100 new, these are £90 posted Scratchplate (NG or Combustion 3/5) £45 new, £40 posted A little saving on new
  2. JUST THE NEW SET LEFT Custom Made for Fret Nation in the US, these GHS Pressurewound strings have a 39.25" winding and a .044 .062 .080 .102T .128T specifically for Dingwall basses. I'm only selling them as they are a little too high tension for my taste. One set is new in the bag and one that have been on a 4 string bass (so the B is unused) less than 24 hours. These cost me £34 a set plus shipping, so I will sell the new set for £35 posted in the UK and the used set for £28. Buy both for £60.
  3. A pair of very nice Gator gig bags. They are used but certainly not abused, and there are no rips or stains anywhere. I have added extra foam to the detachable cushions go give even more protection. £80 new, I'm looking for £50 each posted in the UK, or £90 if you take both
  4. I almost always run my amps flat and tweak on the bass, normally just by panning between the pickups, so not an issue.
  5. I actually use the three preset channels rather than the "front panel". They are all set the same apart from the combination of effects used, ensuring gain and compression remain constant.
  6. I appreciate Franz basses are a relatively unknown quantity in the UK, so I will drop the price to £1800, which is basically a third off new.
  7. Never fitted. I think they fit 6mm threads. TWO NOW SOLD, SO NOW £14 POSTED THE FOUR Price includes postage.

  8. I've had these a while, using them in various amps with valve preamp stages, but my move away from such amps means they are now surplus: Mullard ECC83 - code B6B3 means made in Blackburn, third week of February in either 1956, 1966 or 1976 = £50 Mullard ECC83 - (code backward3)91 means made in Chelmsford for Mullard by Marconi, but not sure how to date the rest = £50 Mullard ECC81 - no code that I can see = £25 Caveat Emptor: I have tested them in my Demeter amp and they are all working fine at time of writing, but as always with old valves be aware they can fail at any time. Please do bear that in mind before you buy.
