  1. Really nice piece of pop on 6 Music this afternoon by CVC. Really liked the fluid bass line and mix of bass/bass drum.
  2. Liked this bass line on the radio this morning - hopefully enough to kick start my mojo which left a long time ago...
  3. Need to catch up with some of these tracks. Thanks for doing this.
  4. Liberon retouch crayons. Sorry for the serious answer 🤨
  5. That's sure what it looked like from here.
  6. I'm one of the few in the disagree camp! However, The Byrd's, Chimes of Freedom is a majestic rendition of an amazing, and still sadly relevant song.
  7. Struggling to see how Natalie Mains can be viewed in the same company as convicted sex criminals and overt racists.
  8. That was what I found with Vox/G-Plan. Nothing about it on the history of G-Plan which I think is a little sad.
  9. Blooming fascinating! http://www.voxshowroom.com/us/guitar/stroller.html
  10. What this man says. Lovely bit of history. A set up, the right knobs and a new decal, and it will be a great thing to keep. You say there are a couple of frets missing - can't see that in the pictures, but can see one of the markers missing. That's another easy fix. Good luck with the project.
  11. Thanks. Have heard some LTJ Bukem tracks which didn't work for me, but will try this - the sub-genre sounds interesting!
  12. Finally found it, a D&B track I like! Didn't take too long did it 😎
  13. Most radio stations play mixes as diverse as that so I can't see it being an issue with a lot of punters. Only thing that struck me was first set quite female vocal dominant and set two very male.
  14. Menudo were another great example, where the boys (including Ricky Martin) were kicked out on reaching a certain age. Went on successfully for years.
  15. Good call by @Happy Jack. This could help you on the way - yes, I know you said British, but the stuff these folks will probably remember, via Skiffle, was American in origin. https://www.musicroom.com/pete-seeger-pete-seeger-centennial-songbook-melody-hl00294636
  16. Neil Cooper, drummer in Therapy? has some great jazz chops. Sadly I don't think he has recorded anything in this genre.
  17. I don't know anything about them except I see them every time I go to Heathrow. Sounds like the coach is a much better idea. Good luck.
  18. This company has shops on every terminal at Heathrow: https://www.excess-baggage.com/
  19. I thought I was in a minority of one with this opinion. Glad someone else feels the same!
  20. Mike & the Mechanics have three bass players when they play live. Fortunately not all at the same time!
  21. I have this problem I have no idea what I want to play next. My next advert could be very difficult.
  22. Not as recent, but you're not forgetting Del Amitri are you @Mickeyboro?
  23. Now why did I go straight for this image?
  24. Saw some of the ABC one. Love the album, enjoyed the interview sections, but felt the show was sorely lacking something (although couldn't put my finger on what). As for the rest, the only one that really warrants classic status IMHO is Frampton, and why choose a Dexy's album that isn't Searching for the Young Soul Rebels?
  25. Do You Know the Way to Solihull
