    In my experience Open Mic nights are really very much singer/guitarist affairs, no backline and no rhythm section. See if there are any jam nights locally.

    The courier business model (self employed drivers) should not be allowed. It isn't what HMRC used to recognise as valid self employment. No idea when the rules changed.
