    Much older, and more Soul/Funk than pop, but I reckon that Cissy Strut by the Meters would sound amazing on baritone sax.

    Not just prints. I used to live near this place - the most unusual combination of Indian furniture/homeward, restaurant, venue and Roger Dean gallery where you can pick up an original piece (plus limited edition prints). Cool place to visit if you find yourself with spare hour in rural Sussex!

    For me it was one guitarist who ignited my love for rhythm playing, and thereby the switch to bass. Freddie Green, part of the amazing Count Basie rhythm section.

    Depending on what you are selling, sometimes the specialist shops can get you a better price. Add Wunjo in Denmark Street to your list if that's the case.

    First thoughts were it would have been linked to Vox. A quick search revealed they did use a Crayford cabinet maker, PA Glock, who also made furniture. Does that ring any bells?

    Great CV, but Ray Charles - that's a bit special in my book. Just read the original thread that got you on here, and it is astonishing that there is so little about you out there on the internet. Extra confusing with your US namesake! Anyhow, welcome to BC.
