    I heard Jefferson Airplane White Rabbit on the radio yesterday. As a soul/jazz fan in my teens it was years before I got to hear this version, but knew and loved this early CTI recording by George Benson.

    Not having a personal dig at you @stonevibe but I find it a little disturbing that gear gets reported on using pure speculation! 'The end result is a crisp clean, a slight gain, or a brutal fuzz sound. And all this without losing the low frequencies.'

    Part of a general change in music consumption, with pop acts (Little Mix, Ariana Grande) playing arenas way bigger than pop acts (Nik Kershaw, Thompson Twins) thirty plus years ago. The latter would have way outsold the former in record sales.

    I'm a big fan of Tom Morello's work with Bruce Springsteen. Guitar on Ghost of Tom Joad is just so different from what you would expect, and the clash of styles works brilliantly, giving it an edge.

    I think Shiply pricing is very much down to availability. If someone has space on a run to nearby locations you will get a good deal. Also being flexible on dates. I've had a great price from them for car transport and some eye watering quotes for other things.
