  1. Happy to be "corrected" on the pricing if I have got this very wrong, but surprised there has been so little interest in a great (albeit weighty) piece of kit! Oh, and interesting trades also welcome (just no more amps unless it is something I can sell on slightly more easily than this one).
  2. Gulp, forgotten now. There's a mid boost switch, a coil tap push pull on one of the knobs. When the Cort website is up (can't get on at the moment) you should be able to get the full specs from there.
  3. I had one - fabulous build quality, lovely neck. The one thing I didn't get on with was the active circuit - which was designed very much with slap in mind. I'm much more a plug in a P bass and leave it type player, and the 75 just has soooo many permutations! So probably ideal.
  4. I'm glad someone did ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. She won't regret that...
  6. Will have to see if I can get that. Thanks.
  7. There was an amazing station in France - Radio Nostalgie that played Abba followed by Johnny Halliday followed by Little Richard followed by Edith Piaf. Probably the last time I heard Move It on the radio, three years ago on holiday! Oldies show here - Absolute, Planet Rock etc play the most limited range. It's such a disappointment.
  8. The former only by the cogniscenti - don't think it gets much of a look in on radio or non- rock & roll covers bands. The latter, well, yes, but doesn't say much does it ๐Ÿ˜
  9. Thanks, nice potted history. And yes, great Rock & Roll band - Move It is woefully under appreciated.
  10. I thought the Ventures were big in the States and the Shadows a UK Ventures tribute act, or have I got that terribly wrong?
  11. That's a very cool performance. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Difficult isn't it. I disagree with your first point but agree with the second. Glad I don't make the rules ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. Perhaps constructive rather than positive?
  14. Surgical spirit, or flatwounds (or both).
  15. Yes, I agree. Perfectly happy with how it works. My OP isn't a moan, I really was just curious, as I'm sure sales posts used to be far more interactive.
  16. Ooh, now that is harsh!
  17. Don't think (at least I hope) that isn't the case here ๐Ÿค”
  18. While I can see your point @BigRedX I was sort of expecting, on this particular sales post, the sort of comments @stewblack refers to. Good to see the two posts next to each other.
  19. Insurance? I tried to list an amp, but insuring at full value made it prohibitive.
  20. Yes, but that's always been the case. I'm thinking there was more general chat in the past - former owners, owners of similar kit, heft, weight and so on. Or am I being nostalgic? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
  21. Just curious, I've put something up on the for sale forum. Had over 400 views and one private conversation, but absolutely no comments (on what I thought would have been an interesting piece of kit). I scanned through the forum, and see that quite a few posts have no, or minimal replies, so it's not just me ๐Ÿ˜ Is it my memory playing tricks on me or did there used to be more conversations (people adding information or general comments) in these sections in the past, or is it something that has been actively discouraged with the new bumping regime?
  22. I'd put them as good music. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. Rehearsing on your partner's birthday - now that's dedication/sheer stupidity ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ
  24. There is when it's not directly on your way home!!
  25. So as well as Monday night's experience, we were also asked to support Erja Lyytinen at the very charming Bridport Electric Palace last night. Fabulous setting, nice roomy stage, great sound engineer, and about 200 people who, unlike on Monday, where there were a good number of our friends attending, had no idea who we were. Such a thrill getting a great response from this type of audience. It is so different playing original material to a paying audience than playing covers in a pub. I'm finding it so rewarding, and thrilled to think people actually genuinely like us! Oh, and amazingly, one guy came to both gigs. Big downer at the end, blooming road closure an the A31 - had to follow a diversion through Poole (oh, and had to go back to the day job today) ๐Ÿ˜•
