i had an interview as a luthier at first acts workshop in boston, tho i couldnt get a working visa sorted in the end they have some pretty interesting guitars, some of them are too interesting in my view. but they seemed to put a lot of love into them with the head custom guy being the former gibson custom shop manager! hence the heavy gibson influence! heres a couple of pix from their show room which <br> <br>

I look forward to seeing these. ;o)[/quote] the first couple of 1x12 cabs have been finished already, they are very light and the ones i saw didnt even have neo drivers! they're pretty compact and are covered in a dark green leather! looks pretty classy. i think hes gona start taking orders for them in the near future! with regards to his website i think its nearly done, though don't hold me to that!

im currently endorsed by iceni and im using one of these at the moment (tho its got a few upgrades in terms of timbers) but i hav to say that it is absolutley amazing to play and would recommend one to anybody! wes

haha im afraid they are the words of our singer...my influences are that of the gloomy bat, the sad flan and the late great angry pike the 5th. all of which were leading in exponents in the jazz funk movement. slap it.

all of the guitars i have played that have been plek'd have played absolutely amzingly, tho ive never played a bass that has had the treatment. i think its probably more of a guitarists thing as the tensions on the neck are so different to that of a bass. i would personally stick with setting up my own bass or getting a decent lutheir to do the work.

hey all...so next weekend is m first proper festival.. playing o2 wireless in hyde park on sat 16th. any one going..should be fun! daft punk yeah! also playing knowsley hall festival 2 weeks later in liverpool should also be good. x

hey all, i used to be a member of bass world. i am 22, bass player for pop band I Am Finn. Living in Fulam, LDN. i am also a fully trained luthier formerly working at iceni zoot tho the building is on hold due to session work. ill get back into it sumday hopefully fulltime when im done with playing! I am endorsed by and use Iceni Zoot Basses ( i have new arrival, a 4 string flame top, flame neck custom model to collect tuesday , thanx mike) i also use fender P's and my own basses and Markbass amplification. been playing about 7 years, still nowhere near as good as i should be haha but ahh well its all fun!
