9. It must be true that when you mention james Jamerson in a listing your profits will double... I have a load of old crap on ebay at the moment...I heard once that Jamerson may of had a load of old crap similar to mine laying about at some point too. Starting price £1200.00
10. looks fine to me. Be worth going to look at. Will have an over rout under the pickguard for a battery though for the active emgs most likely.
11.
'Sold' hopefully!!! LOL, to be honest, there is a minimum i need for my next purchase, its not a case of taking a grand off every week 'til it sell's.
Haha. If I had the money I'd of bought this in a flash. It is beautiful.
12.
Thanks Sam, definitely worth it, although its a grand less than it was last week!
Just think what it could be next week!
13. absolutely gorgeous bass! If i had that sort of money spare I'd of bought this in a flash! Excellent ebay post as well, has every bit of information that you could need. Good luck with the sale Rick!

15. beautiful! I love gold hardware on a white jazz!
16. I think theres definitly more about than there were built. Also most of them ended up getting stripped in the 70's and now theres a heck of a lot of 'original finish' basses turning up on ebay.
17. also where are you based?
18. anychance of more pictures including the back of the body and the back of the neck? ta
19. once again an excellent transaction from Clarky. The Herbie bass has found a new home. thanks again mate! Wes
20. We converted a garage at the bottom of my friends garden into a rehearsal room about 6 years ago. The sound proofing turned out really well. We basically put a stud work wall around the inside and used rockwool in the cavities followed by plaster board which we then covered in carpet. on the ceiling we put some plasterboard up and then 2 thick duvet covers screwed into that. we also had a duvet hanging over the door. was cosy but worked a treat, we played with an acoustic kit and I had a 4x10 and 1x15 1000watt tech soundsystems rig in there and the guitarist had a 4x12 and a 100watt valve head. never got one complaint from the many neighbors!
21.
Did you end up putting the fuzz switch in?
I didn't in the end.
22. man I want this! Don;t think my bank account will let me though :/
23. MMMMM looks lovely mate! Is that your old 63 LPB next to it? That was a stunning bass too. If only I had £2.5k!
24.
So do the extra few millimeters make enough of a difference to you? I must admit I was fascinated by Gil's super thick Jazz neck but haven't got around to trying it yet.
Yah they do, I get cramp in my hand if I play a Jazz for more than 15 minutes! This Jazz neck is going to be a bit like a Nocaster neck! proper baseball bat! I also prefer the tone of a thicker neck. The workshop Im now using has got loads of custom router bits which I will use for the profiling! should be quick and painless!
