1.
Is there no talent to that mans end?
Fixed
 2.
Some of my Mums' ashes were scattered in the sea at Bexhill....she lived there as a young girl.......I really Liked that area of the south coast.......Not that what I think matters ...it just made me think of mum!
I'll give a little wave (no pun intended) of respect to your Mum when I'm down at the sea next
 3.
And not a mobility scooter in sight!! We'll soon fix that for you I'd really like this song - it should be as uplifting as the video, but why does he have to always try and out-miserable Morrissey all the time?!
You cannot be serious our Tom's never as bad as that it is such a catchy song though
 4. It's a bit strange to hear a song about everyday places I know so well, it's not quite like 'New York New York' down here Here's the video, made around the Cafe & seafront - shows a bit of Bexhill life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bH13eUiDhmo
 5.
I know that one of JPJ's heroes was James Jamerson and I think this is his most Jamersonesque basslines but call me biased as a huge Zep fan but it is better than all of JJ's lines combined.
JJ v JPJ + Lemon song = Apples & Oranges, innit
 6. Where are you? Difficult to tell what's wrong from here if you're near me I'll have a look for you. Cheerz, John
 7. I've been contemplating the fretless TT, looks a lot of bass for the money, 1/2 the price of signature model Fenders like Tony Franklin & Victor Baileys. I emailed Thomman asking about the current stock having the same (Delano) pick ups as shown, but was told "Sorry, but this item comes with Sandberg PU´s." http://www.thomann.de/de/sandberg_california_jj4_rw_tsbfl_passiv.htm
 8. I haven't seen these mentioned before, apologies if I'm behind the times seem OK for the money if they're up to usual quality! http://www.giggear.co.uk/n/squier-telecaster-bass/
 9. That looks great Paddy a job very well done I often lust after a Fiesta red P myself @ MrFingers - Cheerz, John
 10.
I'm gonna sleep on it.
They'll all be gone in the morning
 11. Looks lovely You know the Corona factory is in California don't you? GLWTS John
 12. I made up a wiring loom for Sean's Cabronita P build, great communications, instant payment & it's been a complete pleasure dealing with him all the way. Cheerz, John

 14. No problems at all, everything I play goes through - Fender Gold Cable to TC polytuner into Little Bastard - 4x8 & 1x12. I have a bench magnifier which runs 2 daylight tubes, that can induce 50Hz hum into anything, 'til I off it! From memory the Jazz is no worse than any other & certainly no extra noise with either pick up solo. The only surprise I got with the '62 Jazz was the stepping on the tone pots, I didn't know they did that! The after market pots I have are just normal, smooth sweep.
 15. I'm very happy with my AV '62 Ri Jazz, no problem with output compared with everything else & plenty of tone variation on both pups. I have stacked pots to fit in my Frank Bello but I've been lazy & not got around to it yet Cheerz, John
 16. It looks gorgeous I'm looking for a good fretless but Stingray's don't quite do it for me somehow GLWTS John
 17. He got it so right 1st time! 60 years on & they're still top sellers
 18. Same bass on ebay (not neccessarily THE same one, I don't know) anway £400 starting bid!
 19.
. You wanted to see his Vintage Modified Yorkshire Tea box
20.
A lot of players may find this a worthwhile upgrade.
I think you'll find that comes under maintenance, not an upgrade as such
 21.
It's all the same air bud,
You have no idea if the air is the same or not if you haven't tested it, yes it might have started the same but after different compressor, filters, etc. even the pressure may well be more accurate on the machine where you have to pay 20p.
Absolutely. The reason you spend the extra on a Lindy Fralin is because it sounds different... the sort of different that is difficult to get all the time. You're missing the point, which the OP was making in the first place - if you fit expensive pick ups to a sub standard or faulty wiring loom, how do you expect them to perform properly? Right again. Your 250k is the same as mine = the air in your tyres is the same as the air in mine. The type of air makes no difference as to how the tyre functions.
Wrong again. But enough about tyres
