1. I sold some strings to Gavin, great communication & payment etc. a real pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended to all Cheerz, John
2. So is it for sale here at the same price as on ebay? That's not playing the game is it? If you're just advertising your ebay ad this should be in the ebay links not in this forum.
3. Welcome to the machine, yes it's nice here how's Malaysia? Cheerz, John
4. There you go see VOX might not have ever been famous if I hadn't worked for them Good luck, a mate of mine is working as a PW in the industry, away from home all week in B&B but gets a damn good wedge. ATB, John
5. Thanks to you I used to be a prototype wireman in a previous world, worked for Vox a while, late 60's/70's, mostly on the amps & organs. That looks some nice neat work from you, good luck with your sales, these days I have no need for anything bigger than my Ashdown 30 watt Little Bastard. That has oodles of old school noises pouring out of it Cheerz, John
6.
Hi guys, I'm selling these amps, if you have any questions, please email me: riba2233 @ yahoo.com I can lower the price, of course. Thanks, Jakov
If you're selling them - you need to state a price - forum rules ta & some pictures wouldn't go amiss Cheerz, John
7. If the OP is looking for a '79 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Precision-Bass-1979-Vintage-Beautiful-grain-/220992558787?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item33742ed6c3#ht_500wt_950 a bit closer to home!
8.
No mention in the description of the various cracks in the neck and body. And er... the neck isn't a great fit. What's that in the neck pocket there... glue? Filler? I would err on the side of caution, to say the least... Oop... beaten to it. Hi, John!
Cougar piss I told you Hi Mark!
9. Not that cheap IMO, if you want it from USA at the BIN it's going to cost just under £800 all in. It looks genuine to me, the brass bits might put some people off & will perhaps drop the price a little, I bet he doesn't get the US$895 he's after. Edit: The crack in the neck pocket G side would put me off more than anything else, oh! apart from the Cougar piss running down the neck & the damaged strap pin holes. Nothing wrong with the decal IMO.
10. Then I looked at sellers other items - & thought wow he's sprayed them both from the same can only joking I think http://www.ebay.co.u...b#ht_1798wt_934 Woops! Look what else is on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHORELINE-GOLD-Graceys-Guitar-Finish-Paint-Aerosol-Spray-Can-NITRO-Project-/170700902406#ht_2893wt_700
11. In our corner shop t'other day & a guy asked me if I was Ken Whaley (one of Man's many bass players), which was nice & reminded me of this, huge sound
12. Taken off my AV '57 RI P-bass, very little use, in excellent condition, 'just run in!' These are the Ground Roundwound, Smooth Surface, Mid-Bright Tone, Long Scale 4 string set M3075 - 49/62/84/108. Sold in original packaging. SOLD £15 posted 1st Class UK, Paypal (personal payment) or bank transfer please. SOLD Cheerz, John
13. I bought a Tort from this guy & it fitted my Fender Mexican P very nicely, so for £12.95 I'd say they're fine/good deal/bargain. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PRECISION-BASS-SCRATCH-PLATE-Pick-Guard-USA-Mex-P-Bass-fit-8-Colours-/200740664991?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&var=&hash=item746d8a21c4#ht_1655wt_754 I got a custom made for my '51 P from 'The Bass Doc' as discreet above has said, if you want perfection - send Howard a PM, if you just want a scratch plate try the ebay link, they fit MiM's fine IMO, if yours is not a Fender - I dunno, sometimes the routing is different. Cheerz, john
14. I think these came out of a Mexican P-bass, look like new, 6" wires, work well, measure 7.4 K Ohms. SOLD £10 posted UK, Paypal as personal payment or bank transfer please. SOLD Cheerz Cheerz, John
15. Removed from my Frank Bello Jazz when new, no signs of use - as new, 8 or 9" wires. Samarium Cobalt Noiseless, highly rated pick up, just didn't match the Seymour Duncan 1/4lb P pup fitted with it, so I replaced it with a matching SD. Plenty of info on the web I'm sure. Measures 12.54 K Ohms across the coils. SOLD IIRC Fender sell these about £120 a pair so how's £30 + £2.50 P&P 1st class UK. SOLD Cheerz, John
16. SOLD Removed from my '51 P RI - a perfect upgrade for anything like that. It's a 3 hole fixing with through body & top mount options. Must be Brass I reckon 'cos it weighs about 260 grams, more than 9 oz, that's well over 1/2 a pound in old money It's in excellent condition, no rusty screws, fully adjustable & all working fine. I actually prefer the Hipshot A over a Badass as these have the variable string spacing with the turn of a allen screw. I'm sure I can find a Allen key the right size to supply with, but I don't have any spare mounting screws for it. £30 + £3 P&P for 1st class delivery UK, Paypal as personal payment please or bank transfer. SOLD Cheerz Cheerz, John
17. These have been on my '51 RI (through body strung) but had very little use, I just fancy a change to TI Jazz Flats. Ends have hardly been cut (if at all) plenty of length still, pictures below. These strings are famous for their long life & getting better as they get older, so consider these 'almost run in', I've done all the hard work for you All original packing included. SOLD £22.50 Posted 1st class UK, Paypal as personal payment or bank transfer please. SOLD Cheerz [s]Could trade for a set of TI JF344 if you have?[/s] Cheerz, John
18.
I know a few who are "Chum"(ps). One who's a Butcher(s choice). Another ones a bit of a "Chappie".... ...I'll get me coat
They're not going to Winalot
19. Well! You should have said Looks great, GLWTS. Cheerz, John

21. Oh no not the blue ones I'd send Jason a PM or email - he's a good lad
22. Much love here for the DiMarzio DP127, fitted on my '57RI it's the most powerful pup in the house, very high output, full range & every note crystal clear. The bass from it is phenomenal, in fact I'm tempted to get another in black this time for my '62RI. IMO a far higher quality pup than a 1/4lb SD, for not much more money. Cheerz, John
23. Gary very kindly responded to a wanted ad I'd put up for a string tree & in next to no time there in my grubby paw it was . Just the job, it's the little thing sometimes - innit! Many thanks to you Gary, have a good Easter Cheerz, John
24.
Why did you remove the info from first post ? its always good to leave it as its helpful if anyone has similar questions and they do a search imo
Me too
