[/quote] Me too, I've changed Schallers for Jim Dunlops, now on all mine. @steve-bbbThey also make a recessed (in the body) version (as fitted to my Skjold) which takes the same strap fitting & the strap fits right up close to the woodwork.

Don't forget that Rotosound Roundwound's had only just started to make an appearance & everybody who was anybody was giving them a good thrashing Consider that in your search for that sound

Yes - Guy's been flagged up before, top quality work & woods, I've got his T/Rs on all mine. They not only look good, they have a much nicer feel & put you 'in touch' far more than a plastic moulding, IMO

One way to get personal/special is to cut/get made a scratch plate from clear Acrylic or Polycarbonate/Lexan sheet, then fit whatever you want underneath, veneer, wallpaper, photograph, newspaper, cornflakes packet, squashed flies, whatever you like. You can even do custom artwork on the reverse & have it protected by the see through top. Cheerz, John

I'm listening to more Riverside now, must admit to this being the first 'new prog rock' stuff I've liked for a long time
