Band Van!

A long long time ago I had a Green version of this with a mattress or 3 in the backhttp://www.scltd.net/www/bkmotors/applications/filelib/Ford%20Thames%20400E.pdf
2. Cheerz m'dearz, I've sent off a mail, so I'll wait patiently for a reply, no rush
3. Thanks for that Lozz, I've seen your P-pics & it looks very fine indeed + Terry is a name I've heard of thanks for reminding me & the link, seems very reasonable price, I'll get in touch with him. Cheerz, John
4. Thanks Lloydy, it's a lovely bass, I think I'll stick to my plan-A & look for a USA to modify, but I'm very tempted Good luck with the sale, Cheerz, John
should have kept the bog in there Good work though very jealous
Just what I was thinking, would have been a most useful optional extra & quite rare amongst gigmobiles
6. Should I happen to want a P-bass sprayed Candy Apple Red definitely with Nitro Cellulose 1. Who do you know? Almost certainly nowhere near here so it'll have to be via post. 2. If I get a '57 USA Ri Ash body in Nitro White Blonde already, will it need stripping right back for best finish or just prepared & used as base coat? TIA, John
7. Could you just check the neck - is it really 1.75" at the nut & if possible check the frets size? I'm thinking - if it's a Mim I've not seen one with that spec. Could you let us know the serial number? Just one more question, was the gold scratch plate a 10 hole, same as the WD black? Cheerz, John PS If it is that neck spec & USA made I'll have it!
8.
I get 'The requested operation requires elevation'. ??
Same here on my laptop running Vista with only 1 user account, me as administrator (obviously I suppose). The ipconfig/flushdns worked on my PC with XP but seems to have made no difference. 10.
Hi Guys I just got a marshall mark 2 superbass and 4x12 1935 cab - I have noticed it clipping when a turn it to practice volume (i.e. to keep up with the drummer!) and when I drop the E to D. I have tried the cab with another amp and it works fine..... Any thoughts or suggestions would be most helpfull Cheers Chris
What a strange place - on a 3 year old thread - to ask for help! Try the amps & cabs forum - hopefully you'll get more response. Cheerz, John
11. Loving the Whale's old P-bass, strangely when Ghostpoets were playing I thought 'they could do with a bass player!' PS: I didn't realise Noah & The Whale had Phil Lynott on drums & Jarvis Cocker on guitar
12. Same glitch as before, if I'm in messages, go home - click View new content - it takes me to members. So far it all seems to be running I'd say twice as fast as it was so yippeee! Great improvement Cheerz, John
13.
If you close everything on your PC and just leave 1 browser window open, run the test. At the end of the test it will ask you if you want to do the same test with a different browser and it will give you a url to cut and paste. Do that with IE, Chrome and Firefox, and compare the scores. I almost guarantee Chrome will win.
I only had IE8 - now have downloaded Chrome & run the test again - result 2668! Whatever - it's a big difference Cheerz, John
14.
With IE7 at work I scored 579 With Chrome at home I scored 7886 Chrome works much faster and better for me.
OK thanks, now I have to assume IE ain't much cop! Should I go for Chrome?
15. Different PC - Laptop running IE9 & I'm getting the same glitch, every time - if I'm in Messages - got to top of page & click on 'View new content' it takes me to Members, showing the latest new members. Click the VNC box again & it works fine.
16. Original nut? It would drive me mad with spacing like that, judging from the one photo', very strange. I don't get on with J necks at the best of times though
17.
If members are getting different results with different browsers it could have something to do with the add-ons or extensions you have loaded for that browser. This is a testing tool for browser speed - close down all browser windows but one and run the test - You'll have to the test using each browser but it will let you know which is the fastest on your PC. http://clients.futur...eper/run.action It takes 5 minutes so have a tea break
I got 273 - IE8, that's all Edit: 20:04 tried my laptop - IE9 score of 1118, is that any good?
18. Bit of a strange one maybe; when I click on 'view new content' very often I get Members instead. I definitely get it every time I come from the message page. I know the Members buton is above the 'view new content' & I certainly click within the correct box. Happens on both my PC & laptop the same. Don't think I've seen this mentioned before, apologies if it's already known about. Cheerz, John

21. When he was on Jools t'other night I thought that was his old gold J he was playing?
22. Yep - absolutey brilliant - mind you he's younger than me, by 2 weeks
23.
What, the OP? I certainly can't afford him.
Ooooh - you'd be surprised duckie Edit: What a post to make my landmark 1000th! Cheerz, John
