1.
I'm all ears
When I was approaching my 17th my Mum asked if I would like driving lessons for my birthday, (her best effort to get me off motorbikes!) which I agreed would be great, (she didn't know I'd been driving mates cars for a long time). Anyway she arranged some lessons for me with the instructor who she had used only a few years previously. When he turned up it was in a brand new Ford Anglia 1200 DeLuxe, straight from the showroom & I was his first appointment! It was lovely & as I proved to him I could already drive, we chatted, this was his second new Anglia, neither of them had cost him a penny, he got them both through Green Shield Stamps he always bought his petrol where they were giving treble or quadruple stamps & as he was driving/teaching 7 days a week it didn't take him long to save the required number of books All that licking & sticking but what a way to get 2 brand new cars! Cheerz, John
 2.
I'm just going to spend my time polishing my Anglia 105e
I could tell you a story about Anglias from 1968 if you like
 3.
576 views and no offers - is this overpriced or just bad time to sell methinks....
Could be both when you bought it £400 of that £2400 was VAT, just saying as you asked like
 4. Confidently - in the top 18,000 - maybe
 5. If he sends it UPS it will come straight to your door, with a bill for the 3.7% import duty + VAT @ 20% on the declared value + a fee for the courier, something like £11. Then you'll have to find your cheque book - remember where you put it? Cheerz, John
 6. I definitely would if I hadn't just spent all my pocket money & I'm not a great Maiden fan. Good luck with the sale, someone ought to grab this quick Cheerz, John
 7.
Ok now Gareth you'll need to translate this to understand it, from Italian to English: Gareth Tanto per cominciare, i tuoi 2 Fender American Standard non esistono ancora, finquando non ci mostri le fotografie, poi in addizione, me sembra che in questo thread, stai parlando attraverso la tua parte di dietro, perche' a me, niente di quanto hai scritto sta facendo alcun senso. ----------- Now I challenge you or some other clever clogs here to go translate what I have written in italian and that is what I think about this post of yours.
Bing says: For a start, your 2 Fender American Standard does not yet exist, until you show us the photographs, then in addition, it seems to me that in this thread, you're talking through your behind, because to me, nothing you wrote is making no sense.
 8. Go for it - you know you want to My way is - if you want something & can afford it - get it while you can, & not just basses, whatever floats your boat Here today, could be gone tomorrow Enjoy

Andy
Thanks Andy - but the content is not there! I wanted to quote the setup guide to another BCer, when I followed the link I thought great, but it was not to be. Never mind, Cheerz, John

 13. Oh yes another thing! When I tried 'Fast Reply' to a PM - typed my response & saw a 'Post' button, which I hit - then the message I had written disappeared, did not send & left me with a blank reply box. Thinking about it after - surely it should have been a 'Send' button - not a Post? Cheerz, John
 14. Just had this twice: SQL Error An error occured with the SQL server: This is not a problem with IP.Board but rather with your SQL server. Please contact your host and copy the message shown above. What's all that about? Cheerz, John

 18. If it still sounds OK I reckon it must be the crossover or tweeter. I don't know what's in a DB112 crossover, maybe just a component burnt out.
 19. I've just been over to another forum I visit ocassionaly, for Airguns & I noticed their 'Vintage' sub forum is sub-headed - "Anything no longer in production" So if we were to apply that theory = there are no vintage Precisions or Jazzes et al>
