4. Trace Elliot Boxer 65 Combo, (65 Watt SS Amp, 12" Speaker). Looks & sounds as good as the day it was made - I think about 10 years old. No marks no damage, all working perfectly, no problems. A great little practice amp with that TE quality. Modified with a speaker out Jack Socket on rear panel so amp can be used with other cab, or just as cab on it's own. Only selling as I never use it these days, £75 + courier at cost or collect & try with a cup of tea. I could meet up or deliver if not too far from Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. Not looking for any trades except specifically a Hipshot HE6Y 3/8" Black, Bass X-tender! Cheerz, John. Edit: Dims = H 50cm, W 41, D 29, Weight 17.7Kg so Courier shouldn't be a problem, about £12-£15 I reckon. Edit 2; Photo's added.

 9. Nick bought a Prewired electrics set for his P bass, great communication + instant payment & plenty of patience while delivery was held up due to the 'big freeze' I'm pleased to say Nick told me it was worth the wait & he's delighted with it. A pleasure to deal with Nick & as he said "he's sure to be buying again on basschat", have confidence dealing with Nick. Cheerz, John.

 13.
Hi there, I have a couple of queries as to how to do this, My pedalboard is looking scruffy and mismatched and i've been looking into making my own length jack cables, Here are the ends i will be purchasing... http://www.gapco.co.uk/1-4-inch-90-Mono-Ja...g-type-349.html I want to know where i can buy the 1/4 inch cable to use, and "with this type of jack plug, will i have to solder it or will the two screws hold it firmly enough in place?" Hope i've worded this in a way thats not too difficult to understand. Links to website where i can buy the raw cable would be useful too as every time i've searched all i get is pre-built cables. -Tom
The termination of the conductors will need soldering, if you mean the 2 screws that hold the top on the casing, that's all they do. Cheerz, John

 15.
Hey, How much is 'notalot' round the pegs on a P bass? Got a P copy and like the idea of trying out some flats... Will they stay in tune on it? How many times round the peg are we talking? Cheers, Tom
Hi Tom, Sorry - only just seen your question. I used them as they were with no problems & yes they stayed in tune. IIRC they had approx one whole turn around the pegs, it seems some people fit them like that, I prefer a few more winds. They are nice strings, ideal chance to try decent flatwounds without spending a lot. Cheerz, John
Same here If you don't want to drill any extra holes you can use single hole thumbrests & use the pick guard screw hole already in that position. Guy Lewis does them, I'll put a picture on when I'm back at my PC, you might be able to see one in my avatar pic. For me the single screw holds fine & in just the right place. Cheerz, John
Edit - pictures:
