  2. Kaz's choice
  3. Yes - Kaz just said this - you beat me to it mate 😎 Cheerz, John
  4. Of course - outside in this 30 degree heat - or maybe even indoors 😍
  5. I've just done a #2 . . Crew cut that is 😎 and can't get this tune out of my mind, the feeling of that summer breeze going through where the hair that used to be there was 😬 Cool vocals and sizzling hot guitar - what's your summer earworm?
  6. Same here still, it takes about 5 minutes to load a page! [Template core/front/global/userBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default
  7. Hey John, Let me know what pots and socket you've got, I've got something to fit I'm sure. John
  8. Try the diagram below, just leave out the tone pot and cap. https://www.seymourduncan.com/wiring-diagrams?meta_params=bass-options,2-pickups,neck-pb,bridge-jb,1-volume The difference between leaving the pot and cap out or having them in with the pot wide open is impossible to detect with 'normal ears'. If you don't like it you can soon drop a cap in to tame the top end. Cheerz, John
  9. Yes - but look where my mind's gone now, no wonder 😃
  10. And it makes me wonder . . . . . and come to think of it 😲 there's a feeling I get . . . . .
  11. Not really, I'm still trapped in the moment of wonder 🤣
  12. It makes me wonder 😍
  13. Another deal with Mark, this time a wiring kit for something a bit different! Great guy to deal with, a pleasure every time. Cheerz, John
  14. Find your nearest "Roland Planet" from the link, go in and ask to speak to the manager - then make a lot of noise until you are satisfied 😎 https://www.roland.com/uk/dealer_locator/planet_stores/ Seriously - find a dealer near you and kick derrière.
  15. Andy has had a few wiring kits from me, most recently a Jazz with S/P. He's a real gent to deal with, perfect comms and instant payment, one of BC's finest. CHeerz, John
  16. +1 The NHS is bloody marvelous - such a shame it takes so long to get appointments, Best wishes, John
  17. Ed Sheeran - great solo performance but same old same old. Clean Bandit surprisingly good across a whole lot of songs. Noel and his H F B better than I ever heard him before, can't usually stand him! Liam - nothing's changed = never did and never will like him or his approach. Paloma and her band always good to see and hear. Simple minds great, didn;t see enough of their set. Taylor Swift - on much too long, 2 minutes would have been OK Florence - hit and miss, never sure about her. Sam Smith - winey whingy git, on too long! Nice coat Sorry to have missed Billy Ocen, Manics and Squeeze.
  18. You might well find the bores not finished properly - especialy around the hole where the grub screw pokes through. I always twiddle a 1/4" reamer around the insides, making sure the screw is out of the way first, then they slide straight on. Cheerz, John
  19. The recommended approach is to position a piece of cord or edge of a cloth under the edge of the knob, (or the remaining insert), then pull the string/cloth upwards. Don't punch yourself in the face when it goes!
  20. Welcome to the machine, Well done getting your Koi to roll over like that, I've got a cat that does but never my Koi
  21. Chris bought a Jazz bass wiring loom, great comms and instant payment, excellent chap to deal with, top fella
  22. More photo's available @ http://s1355.photobucket.com/user/CCBemmy/library/Fender 1954 Precision Bass?sort=3&page=1 Edit: Looks about right to me - but I'm no expert! Wish there was neck heel end and pots pics.
