1. Cheers chaps I'm never far away & probably no need to send me the bits, a solderless wiring kit means you can change/fit new pick ups in minutes, with no burnt fingers
2. Yes - looks like a typical Fender mess IMHO the pots need 'straightening up' to avoid any contact between the tags & inside the control cavity, or even breaking off the cap! Cheerz, John
3. Russ got in touch re upgrading his P-bass as it had 'crackling pot syndrome' a replacement kit deal done, super comms & instant payment, great guy to deal with. Cheerz, John
4. Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
5. Richard put a call for help in the repairs section, he had a Yellow Humper in bits hiding in a drawer since - well a while ago! Soon sorted, modified to fit in the control cavity, new wires all round + a few extras & it's as good as gold. Excellent chap to deal with, spot on communications & instant payment, a real pleasure Cheerz, John
They sound pretty lacklustre to me Feel for him though if it is health/injury. Glad I'm languishing on the sofa watching, rather than wading around in the mud
+1 Amazing what a proper bit of bass can do innit!
15.
Spotted the D stamp on the heel of several of the basses this guy is selling, mostly lefty stuff but if he is reselling the Thomann decorative stuff without informing the buyer then that seems like a really %&£$^$ thing to be doing http://www.ebay.co.u...%3D282054226466
Please educate me - I can't see a D stamp - looked several times

20. Maybe once or twice a year - lots of variables but for me, using flatwounds & never having to change them, I only use it when A) changing/fitting new strings or when I get a new (to me) bass.
