  1. Pete got in touch for a Stacked knob kit for his Jazz, great communication & instant payment, he's a top fella to deal with Cheerz, John
  2. Have a look at the GHS Flats - not just for Precisions http://www.ghsstrings.com/products/11278-bass-precision-flatstm?category_id=1964710-precision-flatstm 38" for you?
  3. Ha! Glad you got the £50 Rockburn was that the last one? Personally I would leave the Rockburn alone - if it plays OK - & yes you need another bass to go with the pick up. BTW IIRC I did a kit for someone the other day who is using one of those Loureiros & he's rather delighted with it, proper old school
  4. Chris got in touch for a P/J kit to upgrade his HB, great communications & instant payment, a complete pleasure to deal with. Then before I had got round to starting a feedback thread was doing a few mods to his lovely old Shergold, so another kit was soon ordered Great guy - deal with confidence. Cheerz, John
  5. Sack him now! Second chance would only involve proving himself/herself fit & able at a later date

  18. The top diagram - Fender '62 pick ups is fine. The SM drawing has the 2 wires from the volume pot shown in black - as you say they should be white! Also SM show no earth to the tone pot body, which is wrong IMO. Meddle has it right ^^ in both posts ^^ Cheerz, John
