1. Another flawless deal with Tom, a loom for his Maruszczyk this time, always a true gent to deal with, a pillar of our community. Cheers, John
  2.
KiOgon ... is that an Aerodyne in disguise .... Fenderbots ... Roll out ? ?? !!
Not an Aerodyne - a bit similar but - -
  3. TBH you'd almost certainly get more benefit swapping the pots, jack, cap & wiring - for less than £40
  4. The Fender Universal is adjustable for almost any shape, I've just had a Jazz on mine - now a Thunderbid & it's the best fitting & stable stand IMO, not so cheap & not so small when folded but highly recommended. But if you can find one here! EDIT: eg; http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00724ZD40/ref=sr_1_2_olp?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1452946558&sr=1-2&keywords=fender+guitar+stand&condition=new

  6.
Anyone use one ? They look great, and get some really good reviews. I'm looking for a lightweight collapsible stand for gigs. http://www.amazon.co...00TYHM0DA?psc=1
Only good for symetrical base bass, any offset & it's NFG, so OK for P or Ray certainly not for Jazz or T'bird I use a couple of the Fender folding which are neat but same as above; https://www.dropbox.com/s/qg0g1a8sava7skl/fender-2.jpg?dl=0

Mark has made a couple of visits 'down South' recently - it's been a great pleasure meeting him & family at long last, shame he didn't have more spare time to sit & chat! Anyway - I did a couple of jobs for him, a upgrade wiring kit to the ageing guts of his lovely '76 P & some open heart surgery to his even lovelier '75 Hayman. He's a splendid fellow & we look forward to meeting again. Cheerz, John

  21. If you put a mark - felt tip pen or similar - on the nut & adjacent wood, you will see if it is actually the nut loosening or the wood compressing. Two different problems IMHO.
  22. I don't know but obviously the pick ups look like Fralins OK, can't read the serial number but theer is much confusion over these, I do know. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly
