1. New base day heavy - but no good for metal https://www.dropbox.com/s/nb53x8f2xq84vhi/2015-07-16%2016.03.08.jpg?dl=0 Will of course be a suitable little place in the garden to sit & play
2. No apology necessary - I should have explained a picture tells - - - https://www.dropbox.com/s/7nr2hxp9750ipai/2015-07-16%2013.56.40.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/16nko5888jwdr22/2015-07-16%2013.57.01.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/sy0o7kngq7snadv/2015-07-16%2013.57.38.jpg?dl=0 Yeah I've been looking but can't find the right thing - except Fishman - very nice but £200 - £300, bit more than it's worth really. The mounting area is practically flat which narrows down the choice rather. Waiting for a few email replies but still searching Cheerz, John
3. Brian got in touch for a P-bass wiring kit, all great - communications & instant payment - a pleasure to deal with again, a diamond geezer Cheerz, John
4. Will got in touch for a P-bass wiring kit, all great - communications & instant payment - a pleasure to deal with, a diamond geezer Cheerz, John
5. Cheers for the input AM but I have a cutout where the old preamp was, it would be nice to fill - might as well be another onboard pre
6. My first post in this section - please don't bite me I'm looking for a replacement preamp to fit a '90ish Epiphone PR350E, the old one has been thrown away so not sure what it was. The under saddle piezo is still there & seems to give a 'little' signal. Any recommendations for a natural sounding preamp would be welcome - maybe £50/60ish? - must fit into almost perfectly flat section of side, existing cutout approx. 68 x 30mm can be enlarged of course. Cheerz, John
7. Beautiful puss & great photo' - is he/she saying - "when I die you can make new strings out of me"?
8. I heard there was a laptop found in a skip during the clean up at Glasto, but the guy that found it chucked it back 'cos it was soaked in p155!
9. 14. I always use the old E roundwounds for that stupid drain thing down the back of the fridge, most of the others seem to end up supporting something in the garden. Since we got a new fridge/freezer a few months back I haven't done it yet - thanks for the reminder!
15. I made another kit for Stewart, I think that's 4 now he's a real pleasure to deal with every time Cheerz, John
16. SD's chart shows the resonant peak of the SSBs to be 9.2KHz for the Neck & 8.1KHz Bridge http://www.seymourduncan.com/comparetones That's pretty high for bass pups so I certainly wouldn't normally use 500K pots with them, best stick to 250Ks, however I can't tell you how much percievable difference that would make to you Please let us know if you try changing them Cheerz, John
17. Phil got in touch for a upgrade wiring kit for his Farida Jazz, great communications & instant payment, a real pleasure to deal with. Cheerz, John
18. Lovely gesture & I hope someone deserving ends up with. Not like a guy that pissed me off a bit the other day - I advertised on our local Streetlife some spare tomato plants, one bloke turns up in a new Range Rover that probably cost £80K+, WTF does he want 2 free tomato plants? It cost him more than that in petrol to get here! I wish I'd seen his car before I gave him the plants Best wishes & great karma to you Andrew.
19. This is my favourite tort, my AVRI '62 P-bass https://www.dropbox.....32.11.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.....32.40.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.....32.59.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.....33.15.jpg?dl=0 Another with lovely swirl, AVRI '62 Jazz https://www.dropbox.com/s/ryyssc5j5dvw9l1/2012-07-27%2018.49.07.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/jtgmgncmi94arfv/2012-07-27%2018.49.22.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/dx7p49td433d17t/2012-07-27%2018.51.02.jpg?dl=0 I love the yellow flecks in the swirl & the depth of the patterns, my photography is shyte though
20. Sorry - but it looks cheap to me & judging by the close up around the jack socket it doesn't look very well cut either, I'd suggest you didn't pay a lot for it

I had the Roland Micro Bass for a while, I wanted a small amp to be able to use playing along with the TV sometimes. I never got anything 'decent' out of it with passive basses, very disappointed, at the time I only had one active, which was far better suited but I still wouldn't expect to go with drums
