1. From the pic's I'd say the thread on the end of the rod is 'buggered' (a technical term) the only possible repair is to re-cut a smaller diameter thread & fit a matching spoke wheel. May be easier to fit a new rod
2. Another vote for the Little Bastard, no fan no hiss & beautiful valve tone all day every day
3.
Just snagged a nice blonde piggyback bassman, after much searching, so thought i'd get some of my combo's out in the fresh air for a pic: '52 Precision with '52 TV Bassman, '58 Precision with '59 Bassman, '61 Jazz, with '63 Bassman
Yummy! Great to see them together like that very nice Rick
4.
.....and a zero fret on a fretless isn't exactly ideal for setting it up...
True - I wouldn't like the height of a fret there on mine, the strings practically start at zero - on the fingerboard
5. I can't see why it appears to be fitted with a adjustable nut - when it has a zero fret? Pointless!
6. G'day Dave https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hUtmNeFVng
7. I fit the 6 string sets a lot for guitarists, 150L 9-42 & 150R 10-46, they're a lovely mellow string, soft & smooth don't like their big brothers though HTH

9. I think this is the one you need:- http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/jack-trs-connectors/0477573/?origin=PSF_435571|cav Cheerz, John
10.
In hindsight maybe Phil shouldn't have had a plate put on the back with 'Phil Lynott, 1949-1986' - it was asking for trouble. Still the wood screws on the brass are a nice touch.
11. Very pleased with mine, 4.11 Kg balances right.. It needed a bit taken out of the nut slots, (doesn't everything?) Since I put Flats on - Status Hotwires & did a complete set-up I haven't had to adjust anything. Usual BBOT bridge & 70's style tuners all work fine, electrics are good, nothing to change but black tuners would look good IMO. Body & neck fit & finish are as good as any USA, frets are finished well & they're the vintage size, not medium jumbo as Fender say, I'm used to the 1 3/4" neck. I love it, sounds just like a great P & plays well, I reckon it's a classy classic black & maple beauty. Cheerz, John
12. Yep - good showcase with some excellent gigs under your belt just needs the right people to see it & you'll be getting calls
13. Very nice looking kit just one thing would niggle me - TKS - why not fit the badge the other side, not part over the 6"?
14. Out = nought In = one - Fender Roger Waters Signature Precision, not that I needed another P, but saw it & fell in love, I'd known about them a long time but hadn't even thought about buying until a bargain jumped out & shouted BUY ME Fitted Status Hotwire flats & set it up, now it's amongst the top of the tree P's for me. The Maple neck & board along with the brass nut give it a brightness but it's 100% P-bass.

16.
Check this guy out http://chinaguitarsceptic.com/ , he has a good info on the guitars and what to watch out for. No basses on his site only guitars.
Link don't seem to work buddy
17. You know the deal - if it looks too good to be true - then it probably is! As tempting as it maybe You go first Edit: I dunno - the bloody serial number checks out! http://www.guitardat...org/fender.aspx (Corona USA 07 - 08)
18. Take a P-bass, any P-bass, string it with Flats, get a set of Duck Dunn fingers & you're there
19.
Yep - was already doing it. Unfortunately there have been a couple over the last few months. Sorry to hear that! Nope. Anyone who does this has all of their ads removed and a permanent ban applied to their account.
Now that - I'm pleased to hear & definitely the way to treat cheats!
We have been made aware of a number of transactions where goods have been paid for using the Paypal Gift system and the goods are never delivered afterwards. Please be very aware that if you use this payment method there is no way of getting your money back if the deal goes wrong.
Are these transactions that have been made via basschat?
