Contact adhesive like EvoStick I reckon carpet glue might do

Easy fix - a strip of black sticky tape over the top - will smooth out the bumps & you can replace it as often as you like.

I thought you had some plastic in mind for the job! I reckon that would be fine - easier than changing the whole pick up like I did for the same reason on my AV'57 Edit: BTW The sticking up bits are pole pieces not pots

Yes it's been around before, definitely would have to see what's under that monster pick guard before buying could be OK with a double P installation, anything would be better than the overdose of tort
