I heard it first on Radio 2 this morning -

I thought you had some plastic in mind for the job! Something like this would do:- http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ed1a548e2
How thick do you need?
I reckon that would be fine - easier than changing the whole pick up like I did for the same reason on my AV'57
Edit: BTW The sticking up bits are pole pieces not pots
Purchased from Richard arrived this morning, posted exactly as promised & exactly as described. Thank you Rich, a pleasure to deal with you again.

It's a lovely P Gary quite a lot of red in the 3TS innit!
BTW photo 2 link wants me to sign in to yahoo - the others are fine
Best of luck with the sale, I'm sure you'll be sad to see it go
Congrats - looks superb & pretty sure it'll play as good as it looks, have a very good 40th
Much like my Frank Bello, but that has a P neck

Yes it's been around before, definitely would have to see what's under that monster pick guard before buying could be OK with a double P installation, anything would be better than the overdose of tort
I got some good Fender head (stickers), from Robert, as described & posted as said, great guy to deal with - no problems - would happily deal again.
